“Good food. As a black man with dreads, I find that they're very friendly and accommodating. They have good chicken wings, and the best egg rolls around in my opinion. The sweet and sour chicken and honey garlic chicken are my favorite things to get. They come with the sauce on the side.“

“New owners and the name is changing to Kirin. One thing that hasn’t changed is the best Chinese food in south Florida. We had hot and sour soup, lobster with ginger and scallions, Peking duck and beef chow fun. The dishes were all excellent. I hope the new owners are successful as I can’t wait to go back even though it’s a 22 mile drive from home. They don’t have their liquor license yet so bring your own for now.“

“Local, solid takeout. Nothing fancy, but always good reliable family owned. Delivery is always packed well, they never forget stuff and it’s always hot. Some of our go tos Our wonton soup, chicken, wings, vegetable, fried rice, beef, and broccoli, beef, fun, and roast pork mei fun.

If you call head, they will take special requests or if you walk in they will take special requests. They even went to a local supermarket to get cabbage for moo shu.

They are a great restaurant, we have been going for over 20 years, not fancy, but it’s clean, but we usually get takeout Or delivery.

“This restaurant offers a wide variety of both, Chinese and Japanese dishes. The portions are generous but not too much if you know what I mean and the quality of the sushi is exceptional. It’s a very casual ambience where if you wanna grab a bite there you can or they do in-house delivery which is so much better than using other delivery services.“

“This place had good halal Trinidadian Chinese food at a reasonable price. It has been open for about a year. The owner Hema (spelling?) was very hospitable and her husband the chef comes to greet customers as well.

For entrees I had the Hong Kong Chicken and Pepper Steak Combo Fried Rice and Lo Mein. The shrimp wontons were the highlight of the show. They sell a local home made juice and ice cream, the Mango flavor and Pine Ginger were standouts.

“So it was a Monday night, and we were both unsure what we wanted for dinner.
I wanted sushi and Jason wanted Chinese, so we opted for Asahi.
It definitely did not disappoint.
I got the mixed sashimi meal, which came with several large pieces of fish along with rice under.
Jason got the General tos chicken with pork fried rice, and to be honest, it was one of the best general tos I've ever had!
Tender meat and so flavorful! The rice was boiled soft and very fluffy.
I knew from seeing the mixed reviews it was going to be a hit or miss for us, and we took a chance.
We both enjoyed it, and will be ordering from here again in the near future.“

“I don't say this lightly. This is Chinese food how I remember it back in the day like New York style. I can tell the ingredients are higher quality.

The people working there are always friendly and efficient. As soon as I ordered from this place, I immediately stopped ordering from my old place. Also the prices are more reasonable than other Chinese take out places. Big portions.

Definitely try the bbq spare ribs, dumplings and orange chicken. I do have one special request. I really miss the old school shrimp toast appetizer. Can you please add this to the menu?

“Just visited my BFF of 40 years and we learned Lotus has moved as we always dined here when they were in Wilton Manors. OMG…it’s better than ever!! We were so impressed that we visited 3 times during my 12 day stay. They have a beautiful new restaurant, a young, fresh FRIENDLY staff, and the owner visits each table and engages with every customer. Food is even better than before and portions are huge!! We got the beef and broccoli, beef with mixed vegetables, roast pork with bean sprouts, and orange chicken, all dinner combos that come with fried rice, egg roll and soup. The portions are HUGE. Definitely getting at least 2-3 meals from each. The wontons are delicious and actually authentic tasting Hong Kong style wontons. “We have lived in the neighborhood now for 5 years. We have had China one food takeout many times and they never disappoint! Its a small local restaurant and they seem to really understand customer service. The gentleman that works up front remembers us by face and always thanks us for our business. Something that in south Florida I have come to become used to not hearing. Most businesses here only understand Spanish and act like you are bothering them by frequenting their business and spending your hard earned money with them. I highly recommend China one and I hope they see this review.“

I had Wonton soup, Moo Shu Pork and an appetizer of eggrolls. the downside is they had no crispy noodles to munch on while we r waiting for our food, and the dinner did not come with eggrolls, or with real authentic fried rice, only brown or white rice. im a big fan of NY style fried rice and it was disappointing, however I could have ordered a side of pork fried rice for $14. overall since the food was excellent I would highly recommend Red Ginger. We tried to find places closer but have alwaya been disappointed. It's well worth the drive. However tonight we noticed they changed how the boneless spare ribs were made.
