We were so impressed that we visited 3 times during my 12 day stay. They have a beautiful new restaurant, a young, fresh FRIENDLY staff, and the owner visits each table and engages with every customer. Food is even better than before and portions are huge!! Lotus is also very LGBTQ friendly…just as they were in Wilton Manors. Highly recommend!!!! Five stars!!“

“I was craving Chinese food and googled near me. I liked what I saw in the photos and what I read in the reviews.
I was a bit nervous that I would be disappointed by the low key furnishings, but I wasn’t there to eat their furniture.
I was a little set back by the price of my dish but when the portion came to the table and scents were waffing to my sense of smell I was intrigued.
I have eaten my share of ethnic cuisines and have a fairly wide acceptance of many, save for Indian that I just can’t get my tastebuds to take to.
This Trinidadian inspired Chinese fusion rocked my palate.
If this restaurant was on Las Olas or Wynwood or South Beach it would be hard to get a table.
I spent a twenty minutes conversing with chef Tarik whose passion comes through in all the best ways.
Please stop by and support this wonderful little restaurant.

“What a great find! We moved to Ft Lauderdale a few years ago and have had a hard time finding good take-out Chinese Food. We are so pleased with the food we ordered tonight. We shared the Family Meal #1 plus egg roll and spring rolls. The staff called us to let us know they make their fried rice with everything in it (pork, ham, chicken, etc) and asked if we wanted it that way. We didn’t, so we are so glad she called. This is a true take out restaurant, as only a few people could eat on high top chairs. That was fine with us because we were truly doing takeout. Just putting the information here for someone else in case it’s helpful. The food was so good. The portions were very generous. It reminds me of my childhood when Chinese restaurants used to fill the containers until they were busting at the seams. The flavor and the taste of everything was very good. The iced tea is sweet and tasty. Absolutely love that they’re using the traditional white cardboard takeout containers. We appreciate those so much more than plastic takeout containers. The girl at the register was so friendly and helpful. For the few customers in front of me, you can tell she cared about each one of them and had the same kind helpfulness, even up to minutes before closing when I’m sure she already had a long work day. And the cherry on top is that the pricing is great. This is absolutely going to be our go-to place. My only criticism is that I wish there were better details about each meal. For example, Szechuan style shrimp, I’m not exactly sure what that is. Is it fried? Is it spicy? Some additional details on the website would be amazing. Thank you!“

“My mom took me to get sea food boils and i cant lie it was actually really good. The chicken wings are so different i don’t think i have ever had chicken wings like theirs no bc like they actually had a crunch to them and they are so perfectly golden like what! I should have taken a picture but i forgot. I really liked the sauce for their seafood boils its flavorful but not where its super salty. I am 100% asking my mom to take me again. “We visited Panda Express twice during our vacation in Fort Lauderdale. Once we ate in the restaurant, and once we ordered and took the food back to our accommodation as takeout. Unfortunately, the organization in the restaurant isn’t ideal; customers who ordered in-store were served late because online orders took priority.
The food itself was good, warm, and the portion size was fine.“
