“Grabbed a quick lunch. Food arrived promptly and service was good. Typical Changs visit. Almost didn’t go as this location got some inconsistent reviews but glad we tried. The only downfall was the Egg Drop soup tasted off … IMO it had a metallic taste but nothing was actually “wrong” with it. I think it tastes different each visit.“

“Local, solid takeout. Nothing fancy, but always good reliable family owned. Delivery is always packed well, they never forget stuff and it’s always hot. Some of our go tos Our wonton soup, chicken, wings, vegetable, fried rice, beef, and broccoli, beef, fun, and roast pork mei fun.

If you call head, they will take special requests or if you walk in they will take special requests. They even went to a local supermarket to get cabbage for moo shu.

They are a great restaurant, we have been going for over 20 years, not fancy, but it’s clean, but we usually get takeout Or delivery.

“This place had good halal Trinidadian Chinese food at a reasonable price. It has been open for about a year. The owner Hema (spelling?) was very hospitable and her husband the chef comes to greet customers as well.

For entrees I had the Hong Kong Chicken and Pepper Steak Combo Fried Rice and Lo Mein. The shrimp wontons were the highlight of the show. They sell a local home made juice and ice cream, the Mango flavor and Pine Ginger were standouts.

Definitely plan on coming back next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale area.“

“Just visited my BFF of 40 years and we learned Lotus has moved as we always dined here when they were in Wilton Manors. OMG…it’s better than ever!! We were so impressed that we visited 3 times during my 12 day stay. They have a beautiful new restaurant, a young, fresh FRIENDLY staff, and the owner visits each table and engages with every customer. Food is even better than before and portions are huge!! Lotus is also very LGBTQ friendly…just as they were in Wilton Manors. Highly recommend!!!! Five stars!!“

“What a great find! We moved to Ft Lauderdale a few years ago and have had a hard time finding good take-out Chinese Food. We are so pleased with the food we ordered tonight. We shared the Family Meal #1 plus egg roll and spring rolls. The staff called us to let us know they make their fried rice with everything in it (pork, ham, chicken, etc) and asked if we wanted it that way. We didn’t, so we are so glad she called. This is a true take out restaurant, as only a few people could eat on high top chairs. That was fine with us because we were truly doing takeout. Just putting the information here for someone else in case it’s helpful. The food was so good. The portions were very generous. It reminds me of my childhood when Chinese restaurants used to fill the containers until they were busting at the seams. The flavor and the taste of everything was very good. The iced tea is sweet and tasty. Absolutely love that they’re using the traditional white cardboard takeout containers. We appreciate those so much more than plastic takeout containers. The girl at the register was so friendly and helpful. For the few customers in front of me, you can tell she cared about each one of them and had the same kind helpfulness, even up to minutes before closing when I’m sure she already had a long work day. And the cherry on top is that the pricing is great. This is absolutely going to be our go-to place. My only criticism is that I wish there were better details about each meal. For example, Szechuan style shrimp, I’m not exactly sure what that is. Is it fried? Is it spicy? Some additional details on the website would be amazing. Thank you!“

“My mom took me to get sea food boils and i cant lie it was actually really good. The chicken wings are so different i don’t think i have ever had chicken wings like theirs no bc like they actually had a crunch to them and they are so perfectly golden like what! I should have taken a picture but i forgot. I really liked the sauce for their seafood boils its flavorful but not where its super salty. I am 100% asking my mom to take me again. If you have teens that want to experience eating sea food boils go to Jade Flower.“
