“My name is Lillian Ingria and each month since November December I order food for delivery through Instacart from China Lane... The only complaint is that the last three orders the restaurant doesn't give enough fried wonton noodle strips bags to go with the soups like they did in our earlier orders nor packets of sweet and sour mustard soy sauce and a variety of other sauce packets like they use to or fortune cookies... They were quite generous with these items including utensils and napkins... They have become quite very Ungenerous and therefore for the first time through Instacart we gave a four star instead of a five... It seems if we continue with China Lane and place an order we will have to call the restaurant and tell them to put more of the above in like they use to do... Those items are getting less and less with each order and it's noticeable... Lastest order July 4, 2026 @ 12:14 PM...“

“I came here from Fort Lauderdale and wanted to try some Chinese food. As soon as I stepped inside, it was very clean and organized. The employees were extremely kind and understanding. My daughter loved their taro bubble tea. I ordered the dinner combo which included pork fried rice, orange chicken, and wonton soup. With the price of the food, it is IMMACULATE!!! So cheap and worth it. Would DEFINITELY go again, love this restaurant! 10/10“

“New owners and the name is changing to Kirin. One thing that hasn’t changed is the best Chinese food in south Florida. We had hot and sour soup, lobster with ginger and scallions, Peking duck and beef chow fun. The dishes were all excellent. I hope the new owners are successful as I can’t wait to go back even though it’s a 22 mile drive from home. They don’t have their liquor license yet so bring your own for now.“

“Local, solid takeout. Nothing fancy, but always good reliable family owned. Delivery is always packed well, they never forget stuff and it’s always hot. Some of our go tos Our wonton soup, chicken, wings, vegetable, fried rice, beef, and broccoli, beef, fun, and roast pork mei fun.

If you call head, they will take special requests or if you walk in they will take special requests. They even went to a local supermarket to get cabbage for moo shu.

They are a great restaurant, we have been going for over 20 years, not fancy, but it’s clean, but we usually get takeout Or delivery.

The food is seasoned well, but would be so much better if they weren't so spicy. The Ground Beef Spaghetti is so spicy that it's inedible... sucks because it would've been good. The Fried Fish Dinner was spicy too but I was able to finish it with 3 bottles of water. The Boulet dinner had a little kick to it where it was tolerable. The Chicken Wings With Fries were okay.“

“This place had good halal Trinidadian Chinese food at a reasonable price. It has been open for about a year. The owner Hema (spelling?) was very hospitable and her husband the chef comes to greet customers as well.

For entrees I had the Hong Kong Chicken and Pepper Steak Combo Fried Rice and Lo Mein. The shrimp wontons were the highlight of the show. They sell a local home made juice and ice cream, the Mango flavor and Pine Ginger were standouts.

Definitely plan on coming back next time I’m in Fort Lauderdale area.“

“So it was a Monday night, and we were both unsure what we wanted for dinner.
I wanted sushi and Jason wanted Chinese, so we opted for Asahi.
It definitely did not disappoint.
I got the mixed sashimi meal, which came with several large pieces of fish along with rice under.
Jason got the General tos chicken with pork fried rice, and to be honest, it was one of the best general tos I've ever had!
Tender meat and so flavorful! The rice was boiled soft and very fluffy.
I knew from seeing the mixed reviews it was going to be a hit or miss for us, and we took a chance.
We both enjoyed it, and will be ordering from here again in the near future.“

“I’ve been eating at this restaurant since it opened in either 1991 or 1992.
I would say, this is the most authentic Chinese food in Miami. I had several friends who were chefs, who would love to go there and to Sang’s down the street.
The food here is extremely good, although the interior of the restaurant has seen better days.
They really do need to spruce up the place a bit.
I will say, they have the best Peking duck in town. They also have some other fantastic dishes, and do a great job at lobster.“

“Just visited my BFF of 40 years and we learned Lotus has moved as we always dined here when they were in Wilton Manors. OMG…it’s better than ever!! We were so impressed that we visited 3 times during my 12 day stay. They have a beautiful new restaurant, a young, fresh FRIENDLY staff, and the owner visits each table and engages with every customer. Food is even better than before and portions are huge!! We got the beef and broccoli, beef with mixed vegetables, roast pork with bean sprouts, and orange chicken, all dinner combos that come with fried rice, egg roll and soup. The portions are HUGE. Definitely getting at least 2-3 meals from each. The wontons are delicious and actually authentic tasting Hong Kong style wontons. “We discovered Hongs in the Facebook group, Let's Eat, South Florida. The reviews were mixed, however we decided to try it. I called before we went to see if they cook with MSG and I was told that they did. When I asked if the MSG could be omitted the man I spoke with told me it could be omitted. We went to the restaurant last night and I spoke to the server about omitting the MSG and she said she would check with the chef. She wanted to know what dishes we wanted to order. Every dish I asked her about she had to check with the chef. Every dish we asked about they couldn't omit the MSG. We seriously should have walked out. I made the decision to stay because we were already there and decided just to chalk it up. We ordered egg drop soup, beef chow fun, honey roasted pork and the eggplant in garlic sauce. The soup was a huge bowl big enough for two and reasonably priced, however it lacked flavor. It was basically tasteless. The next dish to be brought out was the garlic eggplant and it was sizzling hot. It was absolutely delicious and the best eggplant we've ever ordered. The next dish to come out was the Chow Fun. The temperature on the dish wasn't cold. Maybe it was sitting too long but we felt it could have been hotter. Food coming out of a kitchen should be hot. I tried explaining this to the server but she just didn't understand what I was asking. I just let it go. It was extremely frustrating with the language barrier. She also forgot to bring out the pork. I had to ask for it. Pork was good but a little fatty. We were just about finishing up our meal and I see the server sit down at a table with a big plate of food. She just went on break. Not once did she look over at us or even come over to us before taking her break to see if we maybe needed anything. Also then the chefs and other server took their break. There was only one woman at the register dealing with take-out orders. We sat there for about 15 minutes. We just couldn't believe it. When the woman at the register finally finished with a customer, I went over to her and said I needed help at my table. She finally came over and I told her our food needed to be packed up and I also had to ask for the check. The woman walked away and came back with containers and just put them on the table. She then just stood there. I asked if she was going to pack up our food or if I had to do it. It seemed like she grudgingly did it. Also, their chairs are extremely uncomfortable, didn't encourage lingering. Absolutely awful service. Today, we were going through the reviews on Google and there were many negative reviews. Shame on me for not reading these reviews. If we had, we would NOT have gone. I give them a 1 out of a 10. One and done for us.“

The conveyor belt was definitely a plus because you get to pick all you can eat without leaving your table. Very low maintenance.
