“The Tuck Room is a bar and gastrolounge in the north Miami IPIC. It is decorated with neon lighting and floor to ceiling bookcases with art on them. It has a lounge, speakeasy vibe. The name was inspired by speakeasies which are "tucked" away. You can eat inside the restaurant or order food delivered to your movie seat as we did for the Barbie movie.A specialty cocktail and mocktail were created especially for the movie and I could not resist the Barbie pink colored Lavender Lemonade made with lavender, limoncello, and butterfly pea infused gin. It was delicious and gave me all the Barbie feels. My friend I decided to split a couple of appetizers and ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the fried mozzarella. Both were great. I looked at the rest of the menu and it was very creative. They have a Happy Hour weekdays at the bar from 3 to 6 PM, I would consider coming back to try other dishes without even going to a movie but it was very nice to be pampered and have everything expertly delivered to us unobtrusively while enjoying Barbie. “Always the best service, never a bad experience. Dinner and Cocktail at the bar, as usual it was perfect. Enjoyed my favorite cocktail (Lemon Drop Martini), thank you Vanessa. It was a wonderful early dinner with a nice water view.UPDATE 2024Houston's still has the best service hands down. Cocktails and lunch with the ladies was delicious. Our salads ,fresh and tasty. My friend ate her entire grouoer sandwich, i was surprised.She said "its very good", one of the best pieces of grouper she's had". Kudos Houston, she's picky because of her food restrictions.They definitely make in my opinion the best lemon drop Martini. Our meals were wonderful, no pics and no leftovers ? . When enjoying yourself with good friends, it's about the time shared.Our server Kenny was fantastic, he took time with one of my friends, he was professional and patient with her. She has some food restrictions and she wears a hearing device. He didn't see it but, I'm so glad that being nice is in his character. “Tonight we visited Lettuce & Tomato Gastropub in North Miami and I have to tell you, they don't miss! From the service to the delicious food, this hidden gem is serving up one of the best dining experiences in South Florida. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxed and modern but gives you the feeling that you are in a quaint eatery in South America. For our first course, we tried the Braised Shirt Rib Bao Buns and the Crispy Shrimp Bao Buns, these were both so good that if the meal stopped here, we would've been satisfied. The flavors on these come together for one of the best bites of food I've ever had. For our entrees, we had the Filet Mignon Steak Sandwich, a melt in your mouth tender filet served on a crunchy baguette with tomato aioli, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Simple but so delicious! But this Au Jus and Truffle Burger was an experience that was unexpected and incredible. This perfectly cooked burger of the highest quality, the beef was the star of the show, was topped with shallot confit, truffle aioli, white cheddar cheese, and served with a peppercorn Au jus for dipping. This is a burger you have never had and I assure you, you will never forget it. We finished our meal with creamy cappuccinos, the decadent Bread Pudding and a delicious Almond Tart, both served with homemade vanilla bean gelato. Overall, we loved Lettuce & Tomato and will go back many time in the future. Cheers!“
