Rocio has a gift for hospitality—her energy lights up the café and she makes every guest feel special. Rodrigo’s passion shines through in every dish and drink; the flavors are thoughtful, balanced, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they pour their hearts into everything, from the beautiful presentation to the little personal touches that make the experience extraordinary.
What stood out most is how much love and pride they take in what they do. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and ambiance all come together so perfectly, but Rocio and Rodrigo have created exactly that. “Chela’s was a vibe! Great food, fun atmosphere—but the real star was our waitress Liss. Super sweet, attentive, and made the whole night better. We’ll definitely be back! ¡Chela’s estuvo genial! “One of the best places if you are a Bills fan, or buckeye fan or a sports fan for that matter. Awesome food, service and atmosphere. We came to watch the Buckeyes but are also bills fans since we are originally from Buffalo. We met the owner who is a super nice guy. You feel like you are at a friends house watching the game. Would highly recommend!!“

“This has been a wonderful stay. The hotel is very unique yet luxurious. The staff here especially Wendell and Lizette have been great and very accommodating! We ate breakfast on our last day and that too was top notch. The beach is right across the way and you have access to beach chairs with your stay as well. We will definitely come back, thank you Pelican Team Members for a memorable time!“

“If you’re in Miami Beach, Carlyle Cafe is a must-visit! The place has a cool Art Deco vibe (yep, it was in The Birdcage) and a great atmosphere. Huge shoutout to Rodrigo and Paz for the top-notch service! Perfect spot to soak in the Ocean Drive energy.“

“We had a lunch on a sunny afternoon. There is a section of the restaurant with sand and high table, with a view of the canal and the boats passing by. I also had the chance to see 2 stingrays jumping out of the water. The meal was very good. The service and size of the plates were generous. The server was nice and polite.“

“A fun place to have a drink and/or visit with family and friends. The atmosphere is a bit loud, which is to be expected. Drinks are good and very reasonable, and so is the food. Our server, Julian, was outstanding! A great-fun place to be! Oh, and the desserts are fabulous! The place gets crowded, so expect a 15-20 min. wait on weekends.“

“The setting and meal were excellent. Our server Ricardo excellent! My concern was when we received the bill there was an 18% service charge placed on it. The drawback to this was we typically tip 30% so we had to reduce our tip to Ricardo to 10%. This service charge should be in price of the meal.“

“We ordered late last night, the hotel restaurants were closed and omg had to do it again today! The shrimp mofongo and the sancocho are better than my grandmas! Sorry grandma not sorry! Bread pudding was delicious too. A must eat if you are in the area craving for some real sazón!“

“Ate here for lunch with the family. The bartender was amazing and she even went the extra mile to make sure my kids were happy and turned one of the tvs to cartoons. I had a fantastic and incredibly relaxing day at Aquatica Pool & Beach Bar! It's open to the public, which is great, and the atmosphere was enhanced by a really good DJ spinning some chill tunes. We spent the day by the pool, enjoying full-service.
Our bartender, Nicole, was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We also received excellent service from Niko. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot to spend a day by the pool, this is definitely the place.
I ordered a Smash Burger, a chicken salad, and some coconut water. Everything was delicious and hit the spot. There's also convenient paid parking right next door, which makes things easy.

“Not sure why the low rating. This is our first time here and everything we’ve eaten is delicious and the service is perfect. We enjoyed a proscuitto and burrata salad, fried plantains, seafood risotto, and the assorted croquettes. Not pictured are the croquettes because we absolutely inhaled those. Would pass on having the fried plantains again though- nothing special about them.“
