Lucked out and stayed at the Double Tree where Coconut Charlie's is located. Awesome food, we ate at and ordered to go from the tiki bar at the beach. Tacos are great, bang bang shrimp is fantastic!!! Nachos and rice bowl - add your favorite protein are good. Big beer selection, lots of drink specials. Only negative were the frozen drinks, my wife had 2 and both tasted like cough syrup.
We had lunch at this beach bar and grill located in the Doubletree during a recent stay. If you’re looking for a beautiful beachside restaurant directly on the beach, then this is the place to go. With great weather and shaded umbrellas on the patio (with plenty of outdoor seating), it was a perfect setting. I sincerely question whether some of these reviewers dined at the same location as we did. In all, we had three meals at the restaurant, plus one at the tiki bar and everything we ate was delicious and fresh. Shout out to Vance, our wonderful waiter and all the bartenders who definitely know how to pour a drink. Every table had an ocean view. Prices were very reasonable. We had such a good time and will be returning – – and we probably won’t leave the hotel to dine elsewhere.
