“The food was delicious. We dined on the jagerschnitzel as it is served with the gravy. I’ve had authentic German jagerschnitzel and this was the same- just as I was hoping. I also had the chef’s vegetables and I loved the seasoning, because let’s be honest vegetables are usually boring, but not here. The staff were pleasant. The bread and butter divine. The food came quickly. Lovely date night venue.”

“Great cheeseburgers! My wife and I had one each today (take out) and they were delicious. Huge patty, crisp lettuce, perfect tomatoes and homemade pickles. We had coleslaw and fries as sides. Again, both tasty. Did I mention reasonable prices? Service was spot on as well. We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.”

“We’ve eaten there for two days in a row! Our Airbnb host recommended it, so we went just across the street and arrived late, but Sarah was a JEWEL!! We dined outside to enjoy the nice breeze. Today, we decided to do carry out, and they remembered my husband and even asked where his wife was… very thoughtful! You rarely find that kind of service! Their food is delicious, and plenty of it! “Yes this place only takes cash but the bartenders have been here for years and years and would never disrespect the owner that way as they consider him family. Yes, it's a dive bar but it's always a good time. Reasonably priced drinks and the best are sound in town with the largest selection of music. Give this place a try and don't listen to people that don't actually hang out here! The hours are incorrect and are open until Midnight or later on Friday and Saturdays, which is also karaoke 🎤 nights!”

“I want to like this place more. Great prices, great service, probably the only true hole in the wall place in all of NSB. Unpretentious, open late, has its own vibe. But..the smell is hard to deal with. It smells like an old musty back bedroom in grandmas house. And the bathroom smells like rotten piss. As constructive criticism…please fix this.

Edit: They haven’t said anything but the last couple times I’ve been in there it’s noticeably better. Maybe it’s a coincidence maybe it’s not but at any rate….thanks for the improvement.”
