“We went out on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm. There were not many customers but the service was good in terms of checking on us every now and then. They have massive TVs on the walls to watch the FIFA world cup which was fun. The food was good - big portions but we did have to wait a while. We ordered a bandeja paisa and a parrilla mixta. The meats were good and so was the rice, egg, and avocado. The plantains were a bit overdone and burnt but still sweet. The blackberry juice was great and the tres leches for dessert was delicious.“

“The food was really good. I had the sancocho de costillas (short rib soup); it came with an arepa, rice and half an avocado. It was a lot of soup and super flavorful. My girlfriend had the arroz con pollo with plantains. She really enjoyed it and had enough leftovers to take home.

The service was good, there was only one server. He was great, nice and suggested the dish I got...but it was a little slow because he was the only one there.

Would def like to come back and try some of the other dishes, would recommend 👌🏽“

I didn't get an opportunity to eat any of their foods, but I did try a few of their drinks and he introduced me to a Brazilian drink which tasted pretty good. Young man you're great! “Personally, I loved the food from La Paisa. It is an excellent place to eat and has a wide variety of delicious dishes from Colombia. The servers known as Debbie, Belen, and Camila, were professional, kind, and respectful. Overall, I recommend going to La Paisa if you’re looking for authentic Colombian and international food. Even the bakery has authentic Colombian bread and pastries that are delicious for the taste buds as well. La Paisa is the slice of authentic Colombian culture that can be simply found in the traditional Colombian foods here in Fort Lauderdale.“

“The pastries and cafe con leche were delicious. You can tell they bake everything fresh daily unlike other bakeries. There was a line when I walked in but all the ladies in the front brought the line down quick and I was in and out very quickly. Going to try the breakfast special next time I go! My experience was top notch.“
