Had a great first time experience at Joanies yesterday. Took a day-cation down the tamiami to see alligators, and im so happy we stopped in. Loved the atmosphere and the staff, and especially the food. We ordered fried green tomatoes, gator, crab cakes, and keylime pie. With every bite you could taste how fresh everything was. Perfect road side lunch spot along the Tamiami trail in the Everglades. Try the frog legs and gator bites. My wife preferred the crab cake. Grab the coldest beer you ever enjoyed from the ice bucket. Good music, great waitresses.
