About Lightsey’s Seafood Restaurant & Fish Co.

Lightsey's Seafood Restaurant & Fish Co. in Okeechobee is a great spot for delicious and interesting meals. Standout dishes include sweet potato encrusted grouper, gator bites, blackened scallops, catfish, and blackened shrimp with peach glaze sauce. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere with excellent service and is wheelchair accessible, featuring low tables and outside seating. There are options for kids and a parking lot that can hold about 25 vehicles. Visitors have praised the sweet potato encrusted grouper and the pumpkin bread, noting that both were excellent. The hush puppies and side collards are also favorites among diners. Lightsey's offers a good selection of draft beers and drink specials, making it a popular stop for both locals and tourists. It is advised to arrive early to avoid waiting. Do not forget to check out their swag before leaving!

Food is Amazing. Highly Recommend... Very Nice Place
I wonder how many other people are sick today after eating here. Us 2 guests are back and forth to the bathroom today.
$50 for a buffet of inedible, overcooked and tasteless fried seafood. Over-boiled shrimp that wouldn't peel and mealy oysters. You should be ashamed of your food! We could have had Ruth's Chris for $140.

Lesson learned.
