“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

No, seriously — I could feel my arteries clogging… and I didn’t mind one bit. Now I finally get what people mean when they say, “Well, at least he died happy.”
I ordered The Dime (biscuits and gravy with fried chicken), and it was next-level. Comfort food perfection. Rich, savory, indulgent — basically the culinary equivalent of soft-core food porn.
Even the fresh-squeezed OJ was amazing. Apparently, October oranges hit different, and my taste buds agree.
The only sad part? My family’s off in Italy, and they have no idea what they’re missing. Maple Street over Milan any day.
If this was my last meal on earth, I’d go out smiling.“

We had the has bowl...the dive and dine and the chix and waffles.
With a four peace serving of smashbrowns.
Everything's delicious... The smash grounds were kindagood kinda not.... It was just a luck of the draw, which one was the good one vs which one's are the okish ones.“
“This place is kind of hidden. It’s at the far end of the building by the hotel. Go in past the fountains, walk by the elevators, and you’ll see it. The food’s tasty and easy on the wallet. Their pancakes are good and they have big to-go salads for $10“

“The food was delicious and the portions were excellent. I had the Southern Biscuit Benny the biscuits were from scratch and were very delicious. The creamy hollandaise sauce was splendid. We also ordered a Chicken fajita Omelette which was very delicious with breakfast potatoes and cheesy grits.“

“This was one of the most pleasant experiences at Waffle House. I’m glad we stopped by this location when passing through town. The atmosphere was very fun, laughing going on all around between the staff and customers. Our waitress, Vion, was so nice. I’d come back to this location if I’m passing through town again.“

“Wowwwwww!!! My husband & I just happened to come here on a Saturday morning after the remodeling & everything was free. The food was phenomenal! My husband got the Eggstreme biscuits & gravy & I got the sausage egg & cheese biscuit. We ate every single bite & I was mopping up the last of the gravy with a piece of leftover biscuit. Mmmmm… they have lots of breakfast options but they have plenty of lunch options as well. We loved it. The staff was superb, very attentive and accommodating. Great prices for a restaurant in the San Marco area. Definitely worth your time for a savory breakfast or lunch. Thank you, MapleStreet!!! That was a sweet surprise to our Saturday morning. We will definitely be back!“

“A wonderful atmosphere and amazing service. The workers have a fantastic and warm vibe. Plus the food is excellent ?. I got the $12 breakfast meal it was good and the eggs were perfect and the bacon was crisp and the grits was slapping. They were attentive even when it was busy with refilling our coffees! 10/10 will be back for breakfasts!
Dietary restrictions: They don't have too many options for those on a diet.
Parking: Plenty of close parking spots!
Wheelchair accessibility: They have handicap parking and has a dip in the sidewalk for those with wheelchairs, cane's, walkers or any other handicap assisted device!.“

“Last time I was at an IHOP, a roach decided to join me on top of the table (in Charlotte, NC) so I left immediately but I decided to give it a try again and I'm in awe. Forgot to take a photo cuz it was so delicious. Had sirloin tips with fries (golden and crispy, 😋) and green beans. I was not disappointed. Thank you IHOP, I will definitely be back.“

“I went at night and it was EMPTY for being a 24 hr spot but there were regular online orders coming in and out so maybe that’s what their main income source is.
If the owner is reading I was there today around 8 pm.
The server was AMAZING! I don’t remember her name but she made sure to go above and beyond. The cook was quick and the food was great.
Parking: Open parking that overflows to other lot
Kid-friendliness: It was empty when I went so kids can be loud
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp“

“Always enjoy going to this location on Tuesday nights after roller skating. Our waitress, Nevesha Green, is the best! Always cheerful, great service and has most our regular orders memorized! The food is usually pretty good also!“
