“Since I entered it seemed like a different experience, as if I were really entering a little Asian corner, it is served by a Japanese waitress and those who prepare the food are also of Japanese origin; The place is quiet and beautiful, the drinks are delicious and the portions, although they seem small, are good enough to fill you up. The only drawback I find is that the food takes a long time to arrive at the table and finally that the sushi roll was the most anticipated thing for me and was what I liked the least, after the other dishes.“

The sushi was so good and owner has been at this location for 21 years and it shows, because she really knows what she is doing. While the sign says Sushi snd Subs, it is only

First a few particulars to get out of the way, this is a mostly take out only restaurant. There is a meager dining room, but nothing that would impress a date or business associate..also, parking is plentiful, most of it near the interest. Get lost? Next to the UPS Store.

But you want to know about the food:

Soy Sauce - Kikkoman dark, in little packets to take with you.
California Roll - fresh, refreshing and more flavorful than what I am used to. This was so good and I have to admit, I normally am not a fan of the cali toll.
Southsider - oh my, Dorothy we are not in Kansas any more. I don't think I have had anything quite like this on the east coast. It was such a great mix of savory, crunch, spice and sweet. It was phenomenal.

So the owner told me she was from Burma, which may explain why she had such a unique take on the sushi rolls. My goal was to eat half of each roll, and save half for dinner or lunch the next day. I failed. Once I took one bite of that Southside, I couldn't stop till it was gone, then I licked my plate clean

“I certainly wouldn't call the sushi fancy, but I would definitely call it delicious. I wish they had a few more options in their sushi rolls, but it was good what they have. Service is fantastic and always on point. Great little location. There's sushi roll specials are in a weird location too at the front door. If you're dining in you have to make sure to check that by the front door before you go sit down.“

“The sashimi lunch arrived with imitation Crab as 2 of the 10 pieces of sashimi... I have never gotten fake crab as a piece of sashimi as part of a sashimi appetizer or meal anywhere before. It seems kind of cheap to do so. Service was good, and they even corrected other lunch order without charge. Their Miso soup was really flavorful.“

The police was really clean and I am very excited for the new ownership of the building, the place was really clean and inviting so I did not mind waiting. The staff was OK. I think I may have annoyed the lady running the cash register because I took so long and couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted. But I did try shrimp hibachi it was really good and everything was fresh. The rice was sticky just like how I liked it. I also appreciate that you get two shrimp sauces or Yum Yum sauces with your hibachi order so that was great. The fried cheesecake was so delicious, crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. Love,love, love, the food. $19 + tip is pretty pricey for 1 plate and a slice of cheesecake, however try again.“

“This place is great! I came here from Seattle Washington. There are a lot of restaurants up in seattle like this. It reminded me of home! This place is great and the servers and chefs are amazing. These people work extremely hard to make an environment as good as this is. I support them. I see some negative reviews, but trust me, it's not true.
