“Had hope for this place. Wait staff was great. The finger foods were great, we had pastel and a side of fried yuca. But main meal the picanha with rice bean fries etc ….the food was cold. Even the dang hot plate the picanha came on was cold. Terrible. Place was empty and they could not get it right ….? Too expensive for cold food. Not returning. Was charged top shelf caipirinha and they didn’t even tell us about that.“

“First off, do not go here if you are looking for a nightclub atmosphere. You will not find it.What you will find is a clean, well maintained bar with fantastic food and friendly service. The crowd is mostly blue collar and retired workers that come in to relax and enjoy each other's company. Every time I have gone in, I met great people and struck up great conversations.The bartenders are cordial and fast at their job. Prices are generally less than any other bar I have visited.The food is better than most bars and I've never been disappointed. My go-to is the cheese steak, double meat, crinkle fries, and grilled peppers and onions on the side. I try to make it a point of getting this at least once a month.The music is usually classic rock or country, not too loud. Overall, a great place to eat and relax with friends.“

“My recent dinner at this Bar Louie was excellent! The drinks, apps., entrees, and desserts were all delicious! I tried the bruschetta, flatbread, pretzel bites, cheesesteak, queso fundido, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate cake. Everything was wonderful. I was so especially surprised by the bruschetta and strawberry cheesecake. Both SO good! My favorite drink was the dragon fruit margarita. The presentation was BEAUTIFUL and the flavor was divine-and the strength of the drink was spot on. If you like a sweet drink, this is for you. All in all, the menu at Bar Louie was excellent. Every piece of what I tried was delicious & I'll be happy to order every single item in the future.“

“Me and my sibling decided to have a late night dinner here and we left very happy!

Service: Despite being Saturday night we had no wait time. Our server was quick, friendly and answered any questions we had.

Food: The pricing is more than reasonable for how good the food is. I ordered the fish and chips which came out as a piping hot, huge portion with natural cut fries. We also ordered a tuna bowl that was seasoned to perfection and tasted fresh, not fishy.

The Caboose did not disappoint.Everything was amazing. We ordered a few rounds of drinks, shots, and food. Mozzarella sticks, flatbread pizza, nachos etc,. The food came out promptly and was spot-on. Our bartender Mari was attentive and offered great customer service, even when the POS system went down at peak business she worked through it and still managed to take care of everyone. We spent around $135 and she had no problem splitting the tab as requested. Great experience all-around. Highly recommended.

Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options on the menu, including the vegan black and blue flatbread pizza, which is mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, mozzarella, and blue cheese.“

“Bar by the pool at Portofino Bay Hotel. It was a nice table with a view of the pool and a live DJ. Service was quick, and the bar food was delicious. Drinks were fun and good, and easy to order. We were not rushed, and enjoyed our time by the pool. They also did service by the pool, not just at the bar.“

“Ok the food is NOT amazing by any means. It is decent but I gave 4 stars for convenience and fair pricing (for a resort). We came here because we got in late and didn’t feel like going to Disney Springs for dinner. I appreciated being able to walk somewhere and get food my family could/would eat. Chicken tenders and fries for the kids which they liked. I had a burger which was decent, no complaints other than the meat quality is definitely not something you’d get at a nice burger joint. We also got chicken wings which were…ok. Flavor good, meat, again, questionable. Service was good. So if you’re in a rush or arriving late, definitely give it a try. If you have time/energy to drive elsewhere for dinner, do that.“

“Moe’s Tavern at Universal hits the childhood nostalgia button in the best way possible. I grew up on The Simpsons, so walking in felt like stepping straight into an episode. The Duff neon, the sticky-looking bar top, Barney permanently posted up in the corner, it’s all there and it is hilarious in person. The whole place smells like theme-park popcorn, cold beer, and air conditioning that works way too hard. Perfect combo after walking around all day.

I grabbed a Flaming Moe because you have to. It’s sweet, it smokes, and it makes you feel like you’re ten years old watching reruns again. The staff keeps everything moving fast and everyone is in a good mood. It’s one of those spots where you don’t even care what time it is, you just sit, laugh, and take in how perfectly Universal recreated the whole thing.

If you grew up on The Simpsons like I did, this place is a required stop. The drinks are fun, the atmosphere is spot-on, and it’s the most accurate cartoon-to-real-life bar you will ever step into. Definitely worth popping in for a break and a picture with Barney.“

“Great food! We stayed at the Cabana Bay resort and didn't find out about this place until our last night there. Ordered beef quesadillas, chicken quesadillas, mahi tacos, a cheese steak, potato wedges and Mac n cheese! All very good. we were all eating off each other's plates and enjoying every bite. I highly recommend this place if you stay at the Cabana Bay or bordering hotels/resorts.“

“What a great way to spend a weekend staycation. The staff was amazing and the room and lazy river were so much fun! I would recommend!

Parking: There were plenty of parking spots. Covered garage and open air parking spots that were close to the rooms!

Kid-friendliness: This hotel was geared toward families with children. Lazy rivers, smores and pool slides to just scratch the surface.“

“Backwater Bar is co-located with Confisco restraunt. This is a great place to walk in and get you H2O water or you favorite adult beverage. It is a full service walk up bar with lots of beer, wine, and they can make the liquor drink of your choice. There is no seating inside, but they have shaded seating just outside the door. The staff is friendly and want you to have a nice experience.“

“My husband and I visited this hotel for one night. The pool bar was great! Shady area for hanging at the bar or doing a “grab and go” at the pool. Service has been top notch, offering to bring our food poolside when it was ready - which was always really quick. GREAT Cobb salad (pictured) with ripe avocado, egg, and cherry tomatoes. “This was a great little hotel bar and grill. Atmosphere was 10/10. Right by the pool. Someone was playing steal drums right beside the bar and the bartender was great! I had shrimp tacos with chips and salsa. The food here isn’t going to change your life but it is good. The tortillas were fresh. The cilantro garlic sauce made the tacos very good. Shrimp had a nice char to them. Chips were pretty standard and the salsa was the Heinz salsa cup. But it was good. My husband got their special which was bourbon bbq pork sandwich and fries and it was also great. The pineapple punch cocktail was also awesome! View the menu on the Sheraton Vacation Club site. It has the most up to date menu compared to other sites.“

“I had an amazing time at the Cat-tail pool bar in Rosen Shingle Creek, Orlando. The food was fantastic, and I must say, their Nachos are a must-try - absolutely delicious! Pablo's cocktail creations were top-notch, truly fantastic. His friendly smile and sense of humor added an extra layer of charm to the whole experience. While the prices are on the higher end, the overall experience made it worth it. I highly recommend this spot for a great poolside dining and drinking experience.“

“We stayed at the Marriott Downtown Orlando and had breakfast here for 5 days. We are coming all the way from Dubai and we had a great experience. The food was great and comes quite fast.

Kudos to Tomasa, the lead host in the restaurant who always greeted us with a smile and was very hospitable. Michael, the restaurant manager was also very welcoming and made our breakfast and stay very pleasurable.

“Great bar and food to have by the pool!
THE BAR is outstanding. Great selection of beers, both the big name brands and some delicious local breweries. In the same high level are the cocktails, very creative and phenomenal taste.
Our favorites were the CORE DENSITY and the GRS. The staff is also very friendly. 10/10 experience.

THEL GRILL is great as well. You can order straight from the pool, via a QRCode, and pick up at a side window (the app wasn't updating correctly when I was there, but the Hotel had just opened, so perhaps they will have fixed it by the time you read this) either way, check with them if you think your food should already be done. I highly recommend the HUMMUS & PITA.
It's a great choice if you’re relaxing by the pool, or on their outside tables.

And seriously, don’t overlook the cocktails!“

GC was so awesome, he took great care of us— he checked on us so frequently and was incredibly personable & funny. we stayed hours later than we would have because of his great service! 10/10 stars!!

“My recent stay at The Grande Cove at Marriott's Grande Vista Resort in Orlando was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Whether you're in town for the theme parks, a golf getaway, or just looking for a relaxing vacation with all the comforts of home, this place hits the mark on every level.

The accommodations were incredibly spacious and spotless. I stayed in a multi-bedroom villa, and it felt more like a high-end condo than a hotel room. The suite featured a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable beds, multiple TVs, and a private balcony with serene views of the resort’s beautifully landscaped grounds. It was perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Orlando.

The Grande Cove area is peaceful and quiet, but still centrally located within the resort, making it easy to access everything. Whether it was the main pool area, the clubhouse, or the walking paths around the lakes and golf course, everything was within walking distance or just a quick ride on one of the resort shuttles.

Speaking of the pools – they were immaculate and family-friendly, with plenty of lounge chairs and shaded areas. The main pool had activities for kids, while other areas were quieter for adults looking to relax. The on-site restaurant and bar had a great variety of food and drinks, and it was nice not having to leave the resort for a casual bite or tropical cocktail.

One thing that really stood out was the attention to service and cleanliness. The staff was warm, welcoming, and professional, always going the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable. Every area we visited was spotless and well-maintained, from the fitness center to the lobby to the grilling areas.

Location-wise, the resort is just a short drive from Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld, yet it feels like a secluded retreat tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We loved being close to all the major attractions while still having a peaceful home base to return to.

The resort also offers tons of amenities—a market for snacks and essentials, a spa, golf, bike rentals, a game room, and scheduled activities for both kids and adults. There really is something for everyone here, whether you want to relax or stay active.

In short, The Grande Cove at Marriott’s Grande Vista Resort is a top-notch choice for anyone visiting Orlando. It's clean, safe, beautifully maintained, and truly feels like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to friends, families, or couples looking for a well-rounded, comfortable, and luxurious resort experience.“

“This is a great place to grab some lunch and seat in a shaded patio at Typhoon Lagoon. Our mobile order was ready relatively quickly and we were able to find a table easily. We enjoyed the pork elote nachos, they had great flavor and nice fresh corn salsa and pico de Gallo. We did wish they came with actual queso though rather than queso fresco. Fries and other standard fast food fare were nice and fresh.“

“Their cuisine is a food truck that parks on the side of the bar. Was there Sunday took some tacos Al pastor that were good...but sadly the sauce dripped on my dress.

Bar played good music 🎶 and there was lots of people for a Sunday night. Looks like they are not too used to see white women there, I was the only one. Beer was less expensive (5$/Corona) then the bar I've been the previous night (Cuba Libre) and there was no cover charge to enter. Returned on Monday only 2 clients on site (around 10-10:30 pm) who left shortly after I arrived“
