I am not a hot dog girl at all, but I've seen Cholo dogs at multiple food events so I decided to give them a try once and for all! Plus their stand is always eye catching! I had the cholo dog and it was delicious. Can officially say this is my one and only favorite hot dog! What caught my attention was the bbq sauce, chipotle mayo, and tajin; a girls dream! This weenie wagon saved me from myself after a long afternoon of tailgating in the Florida heat. They have vegan options for all of their hotdog recipes. And they put Mexican street corn on a hotdog, which is genius.

They had a stand at Exploria Stadium during a recent soccer match. We tried to order two Cholo dogs but they insisted on one Cholo and one El Borracho. I'm not used to being overruled in a food order but the Borracho hot dog was life-changing. It has Mexican street corn, cotija cheese, Tajin seasoning and is topped by fresh cilantro.
