Our visit to Gotcha Smokehouse BBQ started with a clever advertising move—sampling the BBQ chicken by a friendly lady. It worked, and we ended up ordering two takeout containers. However, the taste was inconsistent; some portions of the chicken were dry, while others were overly sweet. Despite the mixed experience, the initial marketing strategy was effective.
When you eat at a Food Court in a shopping mall - you usually do not have very high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised at Gotcha BBQ. Initially, prices seemed a little high, but then the server suggested that we "share a plate". We got the "Large" size of steak and chicken and found that it was an ample size portion for both of us.

My experience is a bit difficult to describe. A nice lady in the food court entry walkway was offering a sample of their barbeque chicken, and it was actually truly delicious. I continued walking a bit into the main food court area, and realized most of the offerings were quite standard, so I turned around and decided to get more of what I'd really enjoyed as a sample.
