Amazing service! The staff is outstanding. We got in early and were able to check in early! They were extremely helpful with our bags and even provided a pack and play for our son. Every day we’d come back to our room with clean beds and towels and they’d even set up all of my daughter’s toys and she thought it was the greatest thing ever. Check out was a breeze! They definitely played a very large part in the success of our trip!
My name is Dave and I was an original employee in 1994. I also worked for Disney for 35 years,so I had the best of both worlds. Shades of Green has a warm spot in my heart. I grew up in the military in Germany and visited the different R&R centers there, so when I heard the hotel was opening I applied. Just spent two days here. Room was clean and large. Grounds were well cared for. Bus to Walt Disney world was quick and helpful. Breakfast included Mickey Mouse waffles or pancakes, and buffet style extras. 10/10. Can’t wait to plan another trip to WDW and will definitely stay at SOG!

The staff at Mangino's is outstanding, offering amazing service. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and a warm loaf of delicious fresh bread is brought to the table. The menu features a variety of Italian dishes, including mushroom ravioli, French onion soup, filet mignon, mahi mahi, and salmon, all of which are praised for their deliciousness and are cooked perfectly. The wait staff is polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. Huge portions mean many guests need take home boxes. This place is a gem for treating military families right.
