The Dust Reviews
If you are looking for the classiest dive bar, you have found it.
If you're not, then try it anyways. The people are wonderful, the drinks are strong, and it is pet-friendly so occasionally you might see the Great White Floof lounging on the floor (he is not a couch, don't sit on him).
11/10, best place to wind down while winding up.
If you’re looking for sunshine and rainbows, Mikey at The Dust is probably not your guy. If you’re looking for one of the best bartenders you’ll ever meet, pull up a stool.
Mikey has perfected the art of looking mildly annoyed while somehow making everyone feel like they’ve just been welcomed into the club. He’s good-looking, perpetually cranky, and possesses the kind of razor-sharp wit that keeps the entire bar entertained. His humor is dry,...read full review

The Dust is a cool underground bar located right by Lake Eola, offering a relaxed and dark atmosphere with old school vibes. The downstairs setting is cozy, with a chill environment, and features pool tables and strong drinks. Visitors enjoy the aesthetic, especially the vibe created by the decor and DJ, which makes it a great spot to unwind. The bar often hosts Friday throwback hip hop nights, attracting those who love nostalgic music. The service is generally good, and the staff are friendly and attentive, although some reviews mention inconsistency in drink quality. The pool tables are considered somewhat disappointing, with some feeling they are not worth the price or effort. The DJ sometimes plays music that doesn't match the crowd's energy, especially late at night when the playlist shifts to old 80s songs, leading to a decline in dancing and overall mood. The espresso martinis, in particular, have been criticized for poor quality and rude service when issues are raised. Despite these minor setbacks, many find the atmosphere, DJ, and overall vibe of The Dust to be enjoyable and worth visiting. It remains a favorite for those seeking a laid-back spot with good music, strong drinks, and a unique underground feel.
