“Heard about this place and thought we'd stop by. Went in about three steps and knew right away we didn't want to take a seat. People were so crowded together it was like being in an elevator. Maybe they all knew each other? A couple invited us to sit with them. Where, on their laps? Five stars for friendliness.“

Second, I always meet the coolest people here. I’ve never been anywhere else in Sarasota with 125 healthy active people showing up for a 5k run club when it’s 90+ degrees, on a weeknight (Wednesday 6pm), to run a 5k then most stay to socialize and play BINGO!!!!! This place is a tipping point for our community culture. First and last, are the amazing range of beers and wines and the bagels are the very best I can find, the foods NYC strong!“

“We ate lunch at Neat today and the food was delicious!! My husband had the chicken sandwich and I had the street tacos. Everything was fresh and the flavors were amazing! Our server was very nice and we had a conversation with the owner Jeremy who talked to us about all the plans for the restaurant including a bourbon tasting experience and live music. I would highly recommend a visit to Neat!“

“My husband and I visited for the first time in October during our 3 week vacation. I cannot say good enough things about this place! The people there are so friendly and welcoming in true Irish spirit! The food was amazing and worth every penny spent! We even got to talk with the owner while we were there…both times. It was so good that we made sure to go back a second time before we came back home to Ohio. I’m so sorry we didn’t check the place out our first week there because that probably would have become our second home while we were there! Eileen is awesome!“

However the bartender was very nice and definitely keeps watch over her bar and definitely cpuld tell she kept an eye out for the women which is a really good bartender if you ask me.But To be fair about seeing the questionable dudes I was there briefly to pick up my "lady":) ? after she had some drinks with some friends. So I highly doubt that's the Norm. Bar is clean and doesn't smell like a or look like a hole in the wall next time I will spent a little more time there .“

“I love Monk’s food, mainly because of the oysters. The Oysters Monkafeller are delicious! The service is spotty though - sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s horrible. The atmosphere is alright…it’s just a lil’ hang out, nothing fancy. Because of the food, I always go back. I gotta say though, I haven’t been back in a while, because last time the service was so bad.“

“Food was amazing and they even have an amazing selection of non-alcoholic beers. Our server, Jenna, was fantastic! And Mark, the bartender, was able to make some great drink recommendations. We got the fried goat cheese appetizer which was so melty and creamy and SO good with the fig jam. I got the Kona burger and my friend got the lobster grilled cheese special. The grilled cheese was amazing! We would absolutely come back for another good time and amazing service.“

Beer and wine only. Fridge full of Twisted Tea, White Claw, those types of drinks. Let's you bring in food--we brought in pizza. No smoking inside. Outside high top tables, inside table area and bar, and one FREE pool table in the back. Wish the music was a little louder, but with all the fun talking you have to talk loud anyway. Concrete floor, bathrooms sanitary. Let's you run a tab. Overall chill, good ol' boy, welcoming, local spot.“

“Wow Wow Wow! Absolutely delicious and authentic Italian food! I never order pasta from a pizza joint... I'm way too serious about my pasta. I took a chance on Capo as I'd had a slice of their eggplant pizza and it was fabulous. I orded the rigatoni bolognese, and requested penne as a substitute. It was heaven. The sauce was perfect - the amount of garlic was subtley handled as was the rest of the seasoning. No bitterness and not too sweet either. You can tell the sauce had been cooked awhike and not rushed. The meat was high quality and the coupe de gras was to burrata! A huge helping of cheese right in the middle of the dish. The serving was huge... I only needed it for myself and I got 3 meals from it. Of course as all pasta lovers know it was even better the second day. I had the good fortune to be offered a meatball to try by the owner. I went back the next week for an order of meatballs and tried the gnocchi. Highly highly highly recommend giving this place a try!!!“

I live nearby so brought my boyfriend for a leg of his Valentines Day scavenger hunt to play darts (they have 2 dart boards) & we couldn’t because they have busy dart nights. Call ahead if you have your heart set on darts. So we sat and drank an expensive Guinness! Guess that’s just the going rate these days? Very cozy place, nothing fancy, great little hole in the wall neighborhood pub.“

“Here during Spring '01, was passing through Sarasota, however stayed at the Tiny's Homes. Looked for placed that stayed open late...trek'd there, after a few down the hole trek'd back to the Tiny's. Good tunes, cool locals and just good ol fun.“

I was very impressed with all of the options, games, service and management.
The GM, David, kept a great pulse on a very diverse clientele while supporting two amazing bartenders, Ms. Kate & Ms. Anna... both of whom were obviously veterans of their jobs and experts of their craft.
Dart league, pool league, Golden Tee, Punching Bag and a very clean atmosphere!!!

“i went to this place for my best friends 21st birthday. we got a cabana and ordered drinks and food and just sat by the pool. Matt was so attentive and was even bringing us things we didn't ask for. It was so hot up there and he brought everyone towels with ice in it to keep us cool. He was so sweet and made the experience overall so much better. The atmosphere and view was amazing and the drinks and food were pretty good. I definitely would recommend coming here during the week with some friends.“

“Amazing sundown experience. Started my afternoon at the Tiki bar which was a good call. They were short staffed and helping with orders on the beach. Though Solo, it was a semi quiet bar family and children friendly. Shout out to (Joe) who attended to me and was very attentive. After my meal I went to lounge. Beach waiters were attentive as well i.e water bucket and umbrella etc. I felt well attended to though I did not require much. I want to applaud management towards the etiquette and team spirit the men and women had. I could hear many complaints of orders being skipped or taking too long, yet felt the crew did thier best by compensating in other area's. I do have to say to update the beach lounge chairs they are very uncomfortable.“

“I recently hosted a group dinner at the Mellow Mushroom in Sarasota for 80 Sarasota High School baseball players and their moms and it was AMAZING!!! Everyone had such a great time!
