“Heard about this place and thought we'd stop by. Went in about three steps and knew right away we didn't want to take a seat. People were so crowded together it was like being in an elevator. Maybe they all knew each other? A couple invited us to sit with them. Where, on their laps? Five stars for friendliness.“

“We rode our bikes to Casey Key and had a fantastic lunch at CKFH. We fortunately arrived right before the 11:30 opening, and were 2nd on line. Our table was right on the dock overlooking the water. The service was very friendly and efficient. Both of our meals were made with very fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection.“

“Super cozy, local little pub. I live nearby so brought my boyfriend for a leg of his Valentines Day scavenger hunt to play darts (they have 2 dart boards) & we couldn’t because they have busy dart nights. Call ahead if you have your heart set on darts. So we sat and drank an expensive Guinness! Guess that’s just the going rate these days? Very cozy place, nothing fancy, great little hole in the wall neighborhood pub.“

“My sister came to visit, she's an avid electronic dartboard player. so I went on line and found Coleman's Tavern has several dart machines, we went there for drinks and darts and met a lot of nice people. Coleman's is a nice little neighborhood bar with friendly people and good service. if I lived closer I would frequent there often.“

“Wow Wow Wow! Absolutely delicious and authentic Italian food! I never order pasta from a pizza joint... I'm way too serious about my pasta. I took a chance on Capo as I'd had a slice of their eggplant pizza and it was fabulous. I orded the rigatoni bolognese, and requested penne as a substitute. It was heaven. The sauce was perfect - the amount of garlic was subtley handled as was the rest of the seasoning. No bitterness and not too sweet either. You can tell the sauce had been cooked awhike and not rushed. The meat was high quality and the coupe de gras was to burrata! A huge helping of cheese right in the middle of the dish. The serving was huge... I only needed it for myself and I got 3 meals from it. Of course as all pasta lovers know it was even better the second day. I had the good fortune to be offered a meatball to try by the owner. I went back the next week for an order of meatballs and tried the gnocchi. Highly highly highly recommend giving this place a try!!!“

“I was in Sarasota for 9 days I had a great time at this place. The bartenders were great. The patrons were awesome. And the bar back was even cool. Were im from they don't even talk to you unless they know you. They have a guy that is 57 years old bartending on Friday nights that is literally the life of the party. From introducing you to people to making sure your glass was always full. I didn't get down there my last night there but I will be back for the shirt they promised me. Until we meet again stay 😎“

“Alright so I’ve worked in this area 22 years. My buddy of mine comes here all the time last 18 years so I decided to finally stop by for a beer. The spot is great!! The vibe is cool. There’s a ton of things to do. So saying that. I am not a smoker. Cant stand it honestly but I deal with it on a night out. So I’ll get into that… I read a comment were owner said he keeps it for the people who’s kept him open and I can definitely respect that. But what about all new money can bring in if couldn’t smoke. This is 2025. Nowhere allows smoking anymore. Maybe build a nice tiki in the back? They’ll bring their drinks and have a smoke. Tbh is area is building like crazy and this only place that offers what it does. Can make best of both worlds. I enjoyed my time here. But I’ll have to be in mood to deal with it.“

“Here during Spring '01, was passing through Sarasota, however stayed at the Tiny's Homes. Looked for placed that stayed open late...trek'd there, after a few down the hole trek'd back to the Tiny's. Good tunes, cool locals and just good ol fun.“

I was very impressed with all of the options, games, service and management.
The GM, David, kept a great pulse on a very diverse clientele while supporting two amazing bartenders, Ms. Kate & Ms. Anna... both of whom were obviously veterans of their jobs and experts of their craft.
Dart league, pool league, Golden Tee, Punching Bag and a very clean atmosphere!!!

“Amazing sundown experience. Started my afternoon at the Tiki bar which was a good call. They were short staffed and helping with orders on the beach. Though Solo, it was a semi quiet bar family and children friendly. Shout out to (Joe) who attended to me and was very attentive. After my meal I went to lounge. Beach waiters were attentive as well i.e water bucket and umbrella etc. I felt well attended to though I did not require much. I want to applaud management towards the etiquette and team spirit the men and women had. I could hear many complaints of orders being skipped or taking too long, yet felt the crew did thier best by compensating in other area's. I do have to say to update the beach lounge chairs they are very uncomfortable.“

“The tea house was charming with a different t theme in every room. Service was fabulous, food was delicious, and we were served a lovely ginger licorice lemongrass tea at the end . We sat in the Alice in Wonderland room which we all loved! “I recently hosted a group dinner at the Mellow Mushroom in Sarasota for 80 Sarasota High School baseball players and their moms and it was AMAZING!!! Everyone had such a great time! “Quality of food. Life long member of the owners from Adrian Michigan. I don’t understand when I read comments as for “not authentic Mexican ingredients”. Does the sign not say “Tex-Mex”? In Adrian Michigan we have a large migrant population that prefers other Mexican restaurants over the grasshopper. Huge reason is that the taste buds of visiting Mexicans are used to hot, very hot. As I live here in Mexico I cannot sample any hot sauce because it’s too hot. So I bring my own hot sauce with me when I eat out. I don’t consider the menu as Tex Mex. The family founders brought recipes from Mexico but again, had to tone down the spicy seasoning for the northerners. HOWEVER, if you ask for the extra hot seasoning, they will make you a dishes that will set your mouth on fire upon request. I can’t explain the next topic, but that no one has complained but their menu prices that seem to never increase. As for the cheese dipping sauce? I haven’t been to the Sarasota location. But it’s a wise-tail in Adrian that the cook staff has to sign NDA’s just to know the recipe. Everyone has tried to replicate it but no one has ever gotten it correct. Linda/co-owner has been a lifelong full-time employee that worked every day beside her now ex husband that runs and operates the original Adrian Michigan establishment where his parents created the restaurant. She only hires the best staff and the staff are lifelong dedicated employees. In Adrian, no one visits for the decorations or environment because it’s nothing close to impressive, they visit for the food and service and the staff that brings you refills before knowing that you need one.“
