“The decor is very cute & enjoyed seeing popular characters from Toho monsters to Miyazaki characters in the art on the banners & the walls. We shared some snacks like Ikageso Karaage (fried squid tentacles) and the Mentaiko Fries. The street corn is very delicious. I tried the Kimchi Cream Udon with Tofu & loved it. 😍

“We order sushi from umai a lot. Especially Christmas eve. We do the 7 fishes, and every year a large platter of sushi is a part of it. Umai has filled our Christmas eve order for years! We love them year round as well. In addition to fantastic sushi, they have a variety of entrees. The Hibachi combos are very good, and their soups are fantastic! You really can't go wrong with Umai Cafe.“

“Ling was an amazing and attentive server. She gave great recommendations on the menu and helped narrow down my options. The firecracker shrimp lunch meal was delicious and a great value! Loved the egg drop soup! Thanks ling!
Edit Dec 2nd 2025- we visited PF Chang’s Clearwater again today and Ling was our server. What a pleasant surprise! If we could give her 6 stars, we would! Ask for Ling next time you dine here!“

“We eat here often. I am giving for stars because their roll quality took a dip about 3-4 months again. However, thinks arm to have gotten better. I will up the review if this is consistent.

“It wasn't just dinner, it was an experience. Best views in Clearwater. We watched the sunset, dolphins and boats passing by. The building was open but had heaters. The, waitress, Amanda, did an excellent job. She knew exactly what I wanted and knew what gluten free options to recommend. The food was delicious. We had the avocado dip with plantains and tortillas as an appetizer. Our main dish was the filet. It was outstanding. My husband and I both loved it and we eat out often. The atmosphere was calm with quiet music. We loved it so much we are changing our plans so that we can come back before heading home to North Carolina.“
