“Great first experience at this very romantic and expertly fashioned dining establishment! The staff is very friendly, and eager to meet (and exceed) your expectations. The menu selections are not only creative, but reasonably priced for such a location in Downtown Miami, with combos which include appetizers you can pair with any one of several entrées. The views of the bay from the main and private dining rooms are exceeded ONLY by the waterfront patio area that offers just enough privacy and comfort for its dining guests, while providing an expansive view of the bay.

It truly doesn't get better than this!

“The Thousand Sunny in Pinecrest is an absolute gem. It's truly an amazing spot that perfectly blends incredible food with an atmosphere any anime fan will fall in love with. From the moment you walk in, the One Piece themed decor immediately sets the tone. It’s colorful, detailed, and packed with fun references that make you feel like you’ve stepped right onto the Going Merry. The food here is just as impressive as the ambiance. Every dish we tried was delicious, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced; a rare combination these days. The hot pot dishes were definite standouts. On top of that, the staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, adding to the warm, friendly energy of the place. “Restaurant is beautiful. You don't feel like you're in a mall. Our only hiccup: we had two large tables in our party. One sat by the bar, one sat by the kitchen. The server for the by the bar table was the best. Fast service, very attentive, great food, separate checks no problem. The server by the kitchen was great until he said he couldn't do separate checks. We sought a second opinion from a manager since it was just completed with no difficulty by a server. The manager provided some backend info and lack of communication on their part reasoning, but none of it rang true because of the separate check experience with our other table. Equally upsetting is that the manager seemed to be scolding the server who did our separate checks with no issue. In the end after about a 20 minute delay, we were able to do separate checks, but the way in which it was handled needs to be improved.“

“Everything about the restaurant was great. Our server Jaslyn was very attentive and ensured we got our meals exactly how we wanted them. The allowed us to change our sides with the bay back ribs which were really delicious. When we were leaving one of my friends accidentally dropped her passport and we were travelling early the next day. The restaurant called us and notified us and we were able to return and retrieve it. That saved us a lot of anxiety and stress. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return again.“

“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

“I wouldn’t call this is a gastropub - it’s a sports bar. The walls are lined with screens showing American sport and it’s noisy. So if that’s not your thing, stay away. \nWe had a good experience. There’s a wide selection of beers and food (burgers etc) is very good. Service was very friendly and quick. Worth a visit.“

“Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt… good. I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it's not surprising. Even with the slightly higher prices, I absolutely loved this place. I'm definitely going back soon. It's the perfect spot for a comforting, classic breakfast that just hits the spot.“

“Servers all said they knew nothing about the Thursday 1/2 rack of ribs special that they said it isn't offered anymore. Well flipping through the adds attached to the table flip add list, we showed it and she said she would have to speak to her manager. She returned saying they can honor it. People don't all know to flip through that and just get handed a regular menu with no extra attachment or notification. Open to all customers!!“

While traveling through Miami, I stopped in for dinner and had one of the best Grouper sandwiches I’ve ever tasted—fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The staff was fun, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better.

I enjoyed it so much that I came back the very next day for lunch and tried the Philly cheesesteak—and once again, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere during lunch was electric with the Miami Dolphins game on and a winning vibe in the air.
