“This place is pretty cool. I had the sizzling pork belly. The pork was perfectly cooked! It literally melts in your mouth. The servers there are also very nice. My only complaint is that the place is a bit small but that’s only really a nitpick of mine. Definitely check it out if you’re a fan of the series“

“One of my favorite restaurants in Miami! So many yummy dishes! The lamb and the cornbread are delicious appetizers. For the main entree, I recommend the pepper pot. The drinks are pricey but good. The Marqueta is refreshing, I recommend it if you're a tequila fan.

I returned 3 years later to find the pepper pot is no longer on the menu. Please bring it back! I had the oxtail mac & cheese, which was phenomenal. The drink service was slow, though and they were out of a number of items for the cocktails.“

“Firsy things first, This restaurant is now called Celias. We were looking for Biscayne Tavern and walked right past it twice lol. Went inside the hotel and they let us know we were in the right spot and that the name had changed. The food was very tasty and served hot. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was seasoned perfectly and the cilantro sauce was delicious. We had a few drinks that were also delicious. Overall its a nice place, decorated beautifully with tropical colors and accents.“

“Great dinner! Open table suggested I give this restaurant a try......they were right!! Each dish was amazing and came with a performance presentation! My husband had the sea bass and said it was the best he ever had. I had the filet and the pome puree. Bothe were great! The desert was a show we had 6 leches pearl cake it was great! The neighboring tables were fun to watch. Smokey drinks brought in a chest that glowed blue with smoke billowing out snd a seafood tower with sparklers and smoke from dry ice! All the drama! They have a dance floor and a bar area with many intimate dining tables for couples. And if you are feeling romantic, Just 2 blocks away you will find the Executive Airport Hotel with sexy and romantic suites!“

“Everything about the restaurant was great. Our server Jaslyn was very attentive and ensured we got our meals exactly how we wanted them. The allowed us to change our sides with the bay back ribs which were really delicious. When we were leaving one of my friends accidentally dropped her passport and we were travelling early the next day. The restaurant called us and notified us and we were able to return and retrieve it. That saved us a lot of anxiety and stress. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return again.“

Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. “We generally have good experiences at Mariposa, but in this case we were seated at a bistro table by the bar and the bartender served as our waiter. In short, his service was mediocre at best (forgot our starters and made an error on the food order) because he was tending to drink orders and other guests at the bar. Do NOT sit at the bar if you visit Mariposa.“

Well flipping through the adds attached to the table flip add list, we showed it and she said she would have to speak to her manager. She returned saying they can honor it. People don't all know to flip through that and just get handed a regular menu with no extra attachment or notification. Open to all customers!!“

“We stopped in last Monday to kill time before we had to be on our cruise. I had the southwest salad amazingly delicious. My husband had the cheeseburger paradise, he said it was a great burger. Our bartenders Lisa and Dezearae were amazing. Always checking on us. They are very polite. Those two work well together. “Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt… good. I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it's not surprising. Even with the slightly higher prices, I absolutely loved this place. I'm definitely going back soon. It's the perfect spot for a comforting, classic breakfast that just hits the spot.“
