“Me and my siblings came from NY to visit Florida. We have eaten in plenty places in Miami, but honestly our server Barry set the bar real high, he was the highlight of out trip! He was charming and very helpful. I got the chimichurri chicken, my sister got a BLT of some sort, and my brother a balance bowl, honestly best food spot I’ve had in my entire trip. “Everything about the restaurant was great. Our server Jaslyn was very attentive and ensured we got our meals exactly how we wanted them. The allowed us to change our sides with the bay back ribs which were really delicious. When we were leaving one of my friends accidentally dropped her passport and we were travelling early the next day. The restaurant called us and notified us and we were able to return and retrieve it. That saved us a lot of anxiety and stress. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return again.“

Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. “We generally have good experiences at Mariposa, but in this case we were seated at a bistro table by the bar and the bartender served as our waiter. In short, his service was mediocre at best (forgot our starters and made an error on the food order) because he was tending to drink orders and other guests at the bar. Do NOT sit at the bar if you visit Mariposa.“

Well flipping through the adds attached to the table flip add list, we showed it and she said she would have to speak to her manager. She returned saying they can honor it. People don't all know to flip through that and just get handed a regular menu with no extra attachment or notification. Open to all customers!!“

“The food was DELICIOUS. Sebastian was fantastic! He was essentially alone though to serve and bus almost 10 tables. Hire staff to help to make it a completely enjoyable experience. Sebastian worked HARD. That I’m talking more about him than the food says how much the owners need to prioritize additional staffing. My lobster/shrimp newburg was phenomenal. I hope you’re paying him well. His efforts capped off what could be a great dining experience, in an unassuming/unexpected location.“

“Man, what a find! I was driving around after a brutal early morning of Amazon deliveries (you know how it is!), and I was seriously craving some good grits. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. Seriously, the whole experience was just what I needed – good food, good people, and a great atmosphere. It just felt… good. I did notice the prices were a little higher than what I saw in some older menu pics online, but honestly, with everything going on these days, it's not surprising. Even with the slightly higher prices, I absolutely loved this place. I'm definitely going back soon. It's the perfect spot for a comforting, classic breakfast that just hits the spot.“

“My partner and I made reservations here for our 10th anniversary and had the best time! The food was extremely flavorful and delicious, the music was fun and entertaining, and our server Alonso was an absolute gem! All in all, it made for a perfect atmosphere where you feel pampered by the food, entertained by the food and the music, and have wonderful company and service from those working there. Plus, they even set up roses and candles for us hearing we were celebrating our anniversary. Keg South of Kendall absolutely knocked it out of the park! While traveling through Miami, I stopped in for dinner and had one of the best Grouper sandwiches I’ve ever tasted—fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The staff was fun, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better.

I enjoyed it so much that I came back the very next day for lunch and tried the Philly cheesesteak—and once again, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere during lunch was electric with the Miami Dolphins game on and a winning vibe in the air.

“I would ride my bike up when I was little just to eat hotdogs. Then in high school( Southwest) we would run to our cars to get there first to eat lunch. Just before the Columbus boys would come in. then as a Metro Dade Police Officer i would go by when i could .still love the place .“
