The iguanas leisurely walking around made great entertainment for adults and youngsters of all ages. I did love this place and will be back. Google or Mapquest Monteys in Coconut Grove. “Truly remarkable. We enjoyed the 9-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and waygu enhancement, putting dinner at $375pp including tax and tip. Worth every penny. Our primary server, Gabriela, was fantastic although several other staff members delivered our dishes, including both managers and a member of the chef’s team. I enjoyed the variance as it allows one to meet several members of the staff. Of the nine wines there was one I didn’t care for so, when asked how I liked it and said, “not so much” it was immediately replaced with a choice between two fine wines. It’s in these moments you understand the staff are true professionals providing the best dining experience possible. Gabriela, or Gaby as she prefers to be called, is a true professional The only marks against is the dress code. One gentleman at the bar was in a T-shirt and a baseball cap. Later two gentleman sat at a high top near the door, both in baseball caps. Also, the bartender was wearing a tank-top with the back cutout, something one would expect at a beach bar. The stark contrast between she and the very smartly dressed manager, Jonathan Smith, in a suit and tie, was noticeable. I’m old school dining with my 94 year old father who is really old school so my critique of attire when we’re only here for dinner may seem displaced. My apologies. For anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Miami Beach I highly recommend Stubborn Seed. You will leave full and an experience you’ll remember forever“

“Restaurant lived up to the hype! Phenomenal experience from start to finish. Excellent service and fun, lively atmosphere. Food and cocktails were 10/10. The southern chicken dish was some of the best fried chicken I've had. The flavor was deeper, more complex than your typical fried chicken. House-made pickles and pimento biscuits were the perfect compliment. Collard greens were definitely top 3 all time. Pork chop was slightly overcooked but still delicious. Mashed potatoes and crispy onions with the chop were fantastic. High booze content in the cocktails - got your money's worth. The DJ was just getting going outside as we were leaving. Wish we could've stayed and partied all night. Really appreciated the complimentary ice cream for my wife's birthday. Will definitely be back!“

“We went two weeks ago, Friday 14th. We ordered a Caesar Wrap and a Cuban sandwich( the former good, the latter amazing ). For drinks I had the Tavern's mule which was a great drink as well. We had dinner indoors and it was such a cool place, with lots of tvs to watch different sports. There was Moderate noise but you can still talk. Višnja ( I hope I didn't butcher your name ) was our waiter and she was very attentive.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“Had a really good experience here. The food was excellent, and the drinks were great as well. I tried the chicken kabobs, and they ended up being one of my favorite things I ordered. The staff was also very attentive throughout the visit, which made everything more enjoyable. There’s honestly not much to say other than the food and drinks speak for themselves. “Firsy things first, This restaurant is now called Celias. We were looking for Biscayne Tavern and walked right past it twice lol. Went inside the hotel and they let us know we were in the right spot and that the name had changed. The food was very tasty and served hot. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was seasoned perfectly and the cilantro sauce was delicious. We had a few drinks that were also delicious. Overall its a nice place, decorated beautifully with tropical colors and accents.“

“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“
