“Truly remarkable. We enjoyed the 9-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and waygu enhancement, putting dinner at $375pp including tax and tip. Worth every penny. Our primary server, Gabriela, was fantastic although several other staff members delivered our dishes, including both managers and a member of the chef’s team. I enjoyed the variance as it allows one to meet several members of the staff. Of the nine wines there was one I didn’t care for so, when asked how I liked it and said, “not so much” it was immediately replaced with a choice between two fine wines. It’s in these moments you understand the staff are true professionals providing the best dining experience possible. Gabriela, or Gaby as she prefers to be called, is a true professional The only marks against is the dress code. One gentleman at the bar was in a T-shirt and a baseball cap. Later two gentleman sat at a high top near the door, both in baseball caps. Also, the bartender was wearing a tank-top with the back cutout, something one would expect at a beach bar. The stark contrast between she and the very smartly dressed manager, Jonathan Smith, in a suit and tie, was noticeable. I’m old school dining with my 94 year old father who is really old school so my critique of attire when we’re only here for dinner may seem displaced. My apologies. For anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Miami Beach I highly recommend Stubborn Seed. You will leave full and an experience you’ll remember forever“

“Came for Father's day. They ran out of oxtail and oysters. But our server Jeremy was as TOP TIER! He was patient, kind and efficient. He made the experience delightful. “Nico our server was great! We were looking for brunch and he whipped out the breakfast menu! It was exactly what we wanted! The food was delicious! The photo opps were beautiful with the flowers decor and background. Also the vibes were great w music and fans to keep us comfortable while we ate. Also Nico’s service was 10/10! “Lovely atmosphere. Great food and drinks. The strawberry daiquiri with their homemade syrup was terrific. Vee, our waitress, was really cool, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Love that we were able to watch the FIFA game outside and that they stopped the music and turned up the volume when the game started. Will definitely come here again.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“Firsy things first, This restaurant is now called Celias. We were looking for Biscayne Tavern and walked right past it twice lol. Went inside the hotel and they let us know we were in the right spot and that the name had changed. The food was very tasty and served hot. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was seasoned perfectly and the cilantro sauce was delicious. We had a few drinks that were also delicious. Overall its a nice place, decorated beautifully with tropical colors and accents.“

“The quality of food is high, for that I recommend it. The reason I wouldn’t go back is that the staff just did not care we were there at all. Still waiting for them to ask how everything is… we came through last year and had a totally different experience staff was super friendly and engaged even though the place was packed. We caught them at turnover and they couldn’t care less. We talked about hitting craft as a high point for our one night in Miami before cruising… and now we won’t bother going back to Bayside.“

This place is an absolute gem.
We shared several dishes and every single one was better than the last. The cigars, arayes, challah schnitzel sandwich, shawarma on laffa, and the knafeh were all phenomenal.
As Israelis, we know Mediterranean food, and this was simply outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care.
The entire experience was amazing from start to finish.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Ryan, our server. Ryan was absolutely incredible. You can genuinely tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in where he works. Every recommendation he gave us was a perfect choice. He checked on us throughout the meal, always made sure our drinks were full, kept us smiling and laughing, and treated us with exceptional kindness and professionalism.
Ryan was a huge part of what made this experience so memorable. Employees like him are hard to find, and he deserves recognition for the outstanding job he does. He represents your restaurant in the best possible way.
Thank you for such a memorable evening. We will definitely be back and will be recommending Motek to everyone we know.

“Worth the five star rating. Happy hour 4-8 P.M. weekdays with $1.00 raw bar for oysters, clams shrimp. Fantastic view on marina. Half price drink menu. Killer She crab soup. The iguanas leisurely walking around made great entertainment for adults and youngsters of all ages. I did love this place and will be back. Google or Mapquest Monteys in Coconut Grove. You won’t be sorry“
