“This review is solely based on drinks. Stopped by The Dune Beach Bar at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne for drinks and had a great experience. My mojito was excellent and Geno and David made a special version with peach and passion fruit that was even better. They were both so friendly and made the visit feel relaxed and fun. I would definitely come back for their drinks and their great service.“

“Stopped in here for lunch after reading a few reviews. Place was very nice and relaxing, which was the kind of lunch we were looking for. My kid had her first quesadilla there, I also had the same, and it was outstanding. The flavors were on point, and the portion was so big - we probably should've just shared since we both left with half. ? “I participated in their Grand Tasting Spring Edition, early May. This is my second time coming to the event and it was just as fun, and well organized. I think the food offered this year was also better. They had a great variety and a good amount which was lovely given the amount of wines on the tasting menu. Curated by the very knowledgeable owner and sommelier Alegra. I don’t personally know her but her staff’s adoration of her only ingratiated the event that much more. It sounded like she really took time and care into curating this impressive event. Overall there were 16 tables with anywhere from 4-10+ wines to try from all around the world. I think it’s so cute how they also have a scavenger hunt for participants to get to know the wines in a different format and loved that the first table of wines was a spin-the-bottle. Very creative. The special prices for the wines were also a great touch along with tags describing the wines as, “old school,” or “delicioso.” The selection of wines in the store was even more impressive than the ones being showcased for the event. All in all, this is a great establishment that also holds wonderful events.“

“Had an amazing late lunch at News Cafe. It was just the thing to start off my Miami trip! Had the Chicken Paillard which came in a very generous portion with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad and it was super tasty and fresh. Shout out to my server Paula who was friendly, attentive, and personable!“

“Truly remarkable. We enjoyed the 9-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and waygu enhancement, putting dinner at $375pp including tax and tip. Worth every penny. Our primary server, Gabriela, was fantastic although several other staff members delivered our dishes, including both managers and a member of the chef’s team. I enjoyed the variance as it allows one to meet several members of the staff. Of the nine wines there was one I didn’t care for so, when asked how I liked it and said, “not so much” it was immediately replaced with a choice between two fine wines. It’s in these moments you understand the staff are true professionals providing the best dining experience possible. Gabriela, or Gaby as she prefers to be called, is a true professional The only marks against is the dress code. One gentleman at the bar was in a T-shirt and a baseball cap. Later two gentleman sat at a high top near the door, both in baseball caps. Also, the bartender was wearing a tank-top with the back cutout, something one would expect at a beach bar. The stark contrast between she and the very smartly dressed manager, Jonathan Smith, in a suit and tie, was noticeable. I’m old school dining with my 94 year old father who is really old school so my critique of attire when we’re only here for dinner may seem displaced. My apologies. For anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Miami Beach I highly recommend Stubborn Seed. You will leave full and an experience you’ll remember forever“

“Firsy things first, This restaurant is now called Celias. We were looking for Biscayne Tavern and walked right past it twice lol. Went inside the hotel and they let us know we were in the right spot and that the name had changed. The food was very tasty and served hot. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was seasoned perfectly and the cilantro sauce was delicious. We had a few drinks that were also delicious. Overall its a nice place, decorated beautifully with tropical colors and accents.“

“My wife and I chose Giselle Miami to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary on May 15th, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hostess warmly greeted us and escorted us upstairs. The rooftop atmosphere was stunning — beautiful Miami skyline views, a perfect breeze, open-air vibes, and a live DJ playing smooth house music that set the perfect mood.
We were incredibly fortunate to have Valentino and Jorge take care of us. From the very first greeting until the end of the night, they were absolutely outstanding. Their service went far beyond expectations — they were attentive, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary special. They guided us through the menu with excellent recommendations, checked on us constantly, and made sure every detail was perfect. Valentino and Jorge truly turned our evening into a memorable, unforgettable experience. Their exceptional care and attention to detail are the main reason we’ll be returning to Giselle on our next trip to Miami.
The food was fantastic as well. We enjoyed short rib skewers, wagyu dumplings, and salmon & caviar crispy rice to start. For mains, Valentino recommended the Flaming Lobster Thermidor and Skirt Steak — both were incredible. We also loved the truffle fries, broccolini, and pistachio baby carrots. My wife had the Porn Star Martini, I enjoyed the Mystic Jade and Timeless Old Fashioned, and we finished with the delicious Coming Up Roses and Giselle’s Pearls for dessert.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable rooftop dining experience in Miami, definitely make a reservation at Giselle and ask for Valentino and Jorge. They are the best!“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“
