“Recoveco is by far my favorite restaurant in Miami. I am shocked they don’t already have a Michelin star, because it is at the level. They have a seasonal menu which I love because it changes often, stays fresh, and everything they come up with is spectacular. I actually Googled "grits near me," which is how I stumbled upon this place. I'd seen a review that mentioned "classic diner vibes," and that totally sold me. Walking in, it was like stepping into a different world although it's a bit dated, everyone was so friendly – not just the staff, but the other customers too! I got a bunch of "good mornings" from complete strangers, which was honestly so refreshing. It felt like a real community, a family kind of atmosphere. My server was a total sweetheart. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and was super helpful in guiding me to the perfect breakfast. I ordered the Chuckwagon with eggs over medium, pan sausage, home fries and a side of cheese grits. My server even pointed out a way I could save a few bucks, which I really appreciated. It's awesome when servers are that considerate. The food came out fast and was exactly what I was hoping for – hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I got over-medium eggs and grits, and when I poured the grits over my eggs, my server gave me a knowing look and said, "Now that's how you do it – the classic Southern way!" That just made my day. It brought back all these memories of having breakfast with my grandparents – those classic diner breakfasts that just feel like home. It was a real nostalgia trip. “I walked in around 9am on a weekday to this diner and was completely empty. Staff looked bored. I came for the country fried steak breakfast as they are very hard to find in Miami and the meal was pretty good! I ordered a OJ to drink amd they brought me minute maid...and it had an after taste. Told the staff and she brought me a coke with no issues. The place also smelled funny. Meal was good but i dont think ill be back any time soon“

“Servers all said they knew nothing about the Thursday 1/2 rack of ribs special that they said it isn't offered anymore. Well flipping through the adds attached to the table flip add list, we showed it and she said she would have to speak to her manager. She returned saying they can honor it. People don't all know to flip through that and just get handed a regular menu with no extra attachment or notification. Open to all customers!!“

“The food was DELICIOUS. Sebastian was fantastic! He was essentially alone though to serve and bus almost 10 tables. Hire staff to help to make it a completely enjoyable experience. Sebastian worked HARD. That I’m talking more about him than the food says how much the owners need to prioritize additional staffing. My lobster/shrimp newburg was phenomenal. I hope you’re paying him well. His efforts capped off what could be a great dining experience, in an unassuming/unexpected location.“

“Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen restaurant on Kendall Drive in Miami Florida. My wife and I enjoyed an excellent dinner. Our Server was super friendly, as was the Greeter and entire staff. The atmosphere was very comfortable with light Rock and Country music that was low volume, allowing us to have pleasant table conversations at normal volume. The prices were good. We each had a full meal with two sides, split desert and one cocktail for about $50, before Tip.
We plan to visit again soon with friends.“

“Food was amazing and the server was very busy. She did keep apologizing for my wait to order. The problem is the Hostess was very angry because it was busy. When I walked in, there was a wait. I said oh it's a little busy huh. She became angry and said yeah way to busy. What?!? Then I found out why. She wanted to play on her phone, which she was doing every chance she got. This is why most businesses now have a no cell phone on the floor policy.“

The owners, Issa and Fouad, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not once have I visited without one of them stopping by to say hello and have a quick chat. That personal touch makes you feel like more than just a customer.

And now for the best part: Maria, the bartender. She makes the best cocktails I've had anywhere in the Kendall area. I've tried Old Fashioneds, Mango Margaritas, and Mojitos at plenty of places, and Maria's versions are by far the best. She's friendly, outgoing, and always makes the experience even more enjoyable.

“I live in Kendyl. And I cum a lot towards Homestead. I see this place all the time off of chrome Avenue and I never stopped until today. Me and my daughter had an amazing time there the milkshakes are so good. We will highly recommend it to our families enjoy it.“
