“A really awesome delivery experience overall!

The food was fresh and delivered in about half an hour, and everything we received made for a very satisfying family meal.

What stood out to us the most was the service. There was a small mix-up with our order notes (we requested no shrimp due to allergies), but the staff responded promptly and immediately remade and sent us a fresh bucket of house fried rice without the allergen, no hesitation at all. That level of care really makes a difference and shows they genuinely put their customers first.

We’re really glad we ordered from here and will definitely be ordering again or visiting for dine-in in the near future.

“Not much for atmosphere..but the food was just spot on. I have used a local Chinese near my house in Cutler bay but this establishment killed it. I will use them from now on. “I came to this restaurant due to the hype on social media because of their authentic food. I decided to come and try it with a friend and it did not disappoint.

As soon as you’re seated, you get offered hot tea and water. The hot tea is good. The waiter provided some great suggestions. The only thing is that we did have to request the chow mein noodles, when it was offered to the other tables.

To eat, I tried the fried shrimp taro cake, fried crab rangoon, pan fried pork dumplings and special lomein. The fried shrimp taro cake was the best thing I’ve tried that day. It was delicious and I could eat this all day, everyday. The fried crab rangoon was also delicious and I will definitely order it again. The pork dumplings were tasty too. The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. The special lomein is definitely a shareable dish.

Overall, the service was good and the food was very tasty. I was also very surprised how affordable it was. This is definitely a place I would return when I’m craving Chinese food.“

“This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Miami. If you have ever wanted to know what New York Chinese food tastes like, it is exactly like this. If you are from New York and are craving New York Chinese food, you should go here. The only issue I would mention is that they have a strong accent, but they are not difficult to understand.“

“In the last 2 weeks I’ve been here 3 times; first time I had the General Tso chicken lunch special. It was pretty good, a little on the sweet side, but delicious. I ordered the special fried rice with it instead of just the pork fried rice, and the taste was good. A little lacking on the meat side; small pieces instead of chunks of meat. I also ordered the krab rangoons, and they were great! The last 2 times I’ve been here I ordered the Mongolian Beef plate, and it is by far the best Mongolian beef I’ve had in a LONG time… this last time I ordered it extra spicy, and it was phenomenal. Was gonna give a 4 star review because of the rice, but the Mongolian beef was top notch! Will be back again for sure“

“This is like my 3rd time coming here and oh my goodness, the shrimp Lo Mein & the krab Rangoon is amazingggg. The Lo mein itself is full and so much flavorful and moist well coated with sauce etc. I love the vegetable that is included!

I ordered appetizers for myself (krab rangoon) and my co-worker wanted to try it and now she also fell in love that she had to order her one today. I’m thankful that I have something to eat on with different varieties of choices by my job (Snappers).

“This is a quintessential old-school Miami Chinese restaurant. Great value and quality. We came in on an early Saturday afternoon. While we were there, a couple of tables walked in, and they also had a steady stream of pick-up orders. The special soup for two was awesome. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious.
The service is prompt but not necessarily friendly, it isn’t unpleasant either. Just no nonsense, straight to the point.“

They don’t allow you to dine in says for five years the shopping center doesn’t allow them to dine in was told to wait ten minutes it was about 30 min being in the service industry it was horrible service but the food was great also very stingy with sauce asked for extra and was givin a look of judgement . Also was told the manager is never there which is very weird . Wish I could’ve sat in and ate with my family or at least offered plates and utensils if we can’t dine in I would’ve ate in the car“

“This is our family's closest local favorite for take out, but I enjoyed eating in for once, noting the restaurant has formal and informal tables, live fish, lobsters, eel, and crab in tanks, and advertising in English and Chinese. Their TV had Chinese music and captions and of course, I saw the staff and customers include people who are Chinese, all hinting at its authenticity. For whatever cuisine, you should always hope for people from that country to be eating there!

Tip: save money and try more with their lunch or dinner combination meals that include an entree, fried or steamed rice, egg drop or won to soup, and an egg roll. Dinner for two ran around $30 with a pot of jasmine tea.

I had Szechuan chicken in the dinner combination meal with pork fried rice, egg drop soup and an egg roll. My companion had beef and broccoli and won ton soup.

The Szechuan had bright flavors, fresh vegetables, but not much heat (so request more heat if you like that). The egg drop soup had freshly dropped egg. The problem fried rice had nice bits of pork and just right flavoring. The egg roll had fresh vegetables. It is apparent they are dedicated to fresh food!

Portions are ample. Flavor was spot on!

The only downside was they didn't have cashew chicken that day, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Szechuan!

Chang's is in a strip mall that includes Publix and with lots of parking.

Staff appears to speak Spanish, English, and Chinese.

“I would say this is good Chinese food. Depends on what you order though. Portions are great for the $. Chicken Broccoli and the fried rice are solid. Never let me down yet. Gave 5 stars because I ordered a few minutes before closing and they took good care of me. My fault for not reading the hours right and the guy was super cool about it.“

“I’ve been eating here practically for the 18 years I live here and I can say this is the only Chinese food place my stomach can tolerate and is good. This is the only Chinese place where my stomach doesn’t get upset and I vomit the next day. The food is always good & priced right for what you receive. However the portions now have gone from huge to small. Before 2020 the food used to be packed in the containers til the box can’t close. Now they don’t pack as much. I guess the staff just do it different? The staff back then was Chinese now the place is ran by Cubans. But I must say if your digestive system is sensitive to Chinese places you order from a local plaza, this one will not give you issues.“

“Stopped in on my way back from the Keys. It’s a mom and pop place. I guess they had just gotten a few calls before I came in because I had to wait a few minutes longer than I normally do for Chinese take out.
Put the food in back because I’m eating it when I get to Midway Campground, half way across the Everglades. It was still on the warm side when I ate. This is some of the best Chinese take out I have ever had. The shrimp egg foo young wasn’t greasy, the moo goo gai pan was full of vegetables and chicken. A few miles out of my way but this might be my new place when coming back home.“

“Best Chinese take out in Homestead. The food is so freash and clean. My friend and I had the lunch specials on a Saturday. I ordered the chicken with broccoli and she ordered honey garlic chicken. Wow was it good! We ended up trying and sharing our food because it was so good. I never eat honey garlic chicken because it's always bad and nasty, not at this place! It was perfect. I even tried a piece alone without sauce and the breading was delicious and had a freshness to it. We had soooo much food it came with fried rice and soup and the total was 19 and change! We had alot for leftovers. The pickup was at a window of the place and was less than a min.
