“I forgot to take a picture of my drink but when I say that it was amazing! It was amazing. The customer service from Mr. Gerbaud was excellent. I tried all of the drink combos and they were all great but the soursop drink is near and dear to my heart. I didn’t go into the restaurant but actually visited his stand in Aventura mall. I implore you all to try it.“

“what an amazing experience with A&S Deli Catering! Working with Amanda and the team at A&S was such a pleasure. We hosted a luncheon for 55 people to celebrate my grandmother's 100th birthday (i know, wow!) and from the moment I connected with Amanda I knew this was going to be the easiest part of the planning. She quickly called me to get info on the event, chatted me through the catering menus and offerings and worked with me to come up with a menu that would offer a variety of dishes so there was something for everyone. the quote came quickly, was simple and easy to understand and even making the payments was smooth sailing. The day of the event, I got a call alerting me the team was on the way to set up and they arrived right on time, coming in and out quickly to set up where we told them we wanted to food, and left within 15 minutes. I was amazed! no mess, no fuss, just professional and so friendly. And the food...wow. This was a house FULL of Italians, so for every single guest to ask me where we ordered the food from because it was that good is a HUGE compliment! We ordered baked ziti, lemon chicken, eggplant parm, meatballs and sausage and peppers and there was so much food that everyone ate and lots of people took leftovers! A&S is our new go to catering company, we are so pleased thank you to the whole team for helping us make my grandmothers 100th birthday so fabulous!“

I stopped in and tried the beef empanada, and it was absolutely amazing. The first thing that stood out was the dough—it had a great texture, perfectly cooked with a nice bite on the outside while still being soft and flavorful. You can tell the dough itself isn’t an afterthought; it actually adds to the overall experience.

The beef filling was flavorful and paired perfectly with the crust. A good empanada sounds simple, but when the dough, seasoning, texture, and filling all come together, it makes a difference.

Manny’s definitely nailed this one. Next time I’m going back to explore more of the menu, but that beef empanada will absolutely be part of the order again.

“I was here in the off season so while I did make a reservation there was no need to. I was pleasantly surprised that this place had good food. I ordered a short stack of dulce de liche pancakes, fruit side, and bacon. There were 3 huge pancakes that delivered on the chocolate to pancake ratio. The fruit was fresh and a good mix of melons and berries. The bacon arrived as I requested, crispy. The only disappointment was my drink, the bloody Maria, which was bland and not good. They offered to switch it out to something else but I was already finished eating so they took it off my check when I requested because I hadn't drank any of it other than to taste.“

“Sari at Pure Vegan makes THE BEST CAKES!!! We had the pleasure of inhaling one of her vegan, nut free cakes for my son’s 14th Birthday party . It was the best Vegan cake I have ever eaten …yumm!! According to the teenagers …it was also “super cool” looking/ goth cake for a Halloween Birthday themed party. The Oreo cookie cake was so moist. It had layers of vegan buttercream and marshmallow icing with crushed Oreos between every layer…five layer cake. ? ?. She also made us vegan , nut free chocolate dipped Oreos with various images (printed on sugar…so it was edible!). Then - instead of goodie bags with all the plastic toys etc - she made us vegan, gluten free, nut free rice crispy squares…individually wrapped with the ingredients clearly labeled. I am an allergy mom - my son has many allergies but the scariest is the nut allergy. This was money well spent! Everyone could relax ..and keep the epi pens in their med kit for this party!!! We will order again soon! Thank you for making his party wonderful!“

“Pastries and bread are great here. They have a huge selection of pastries, bread, frozen food, and a small selection of prepared foods. My only complaint is that if you don't speak Portuguese, you'll have a hard time ordering or asking questions about their pastries. From the times that I've visited, there was only one time that there was a young man who spoke English. I would still recommend and visit this establishment, but it's just difficult to communicate.“
