We had dinner there last night and shared the meatball app. Unfortunately they no longer serve the meatballs with garlic bread.They serve it with toast which was a huge disappointment. “My husband I go every so often and I sometimes get lunch take-out. Inside is nice and clean, but unless you get a booth tables are close together or in an awkward spot. Bar area is nice plenty room to sit and eat. I love the Philly deluxe, and I usually get chicken. Chicago style hot dogs are so tasty. The majority of our servers have always been friendly and efficient. I do wish they would publish lunch specials online instead of just table tents when you dine in because I would probably order from them more for lunch. “I was EXTREMELY pleased with this Hungry Howie's!The restaurant was clean, service was excellent, and the food was fresh.The employees were all doing their part to make sure each guest was taken care of, and they were doing it with a smile on their faces.The crew at this establishment could really teach other business how to do it right. “I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Javier at a gas station. When I saw there shirts that said Veronas, I asked a few questions and they informed me they worked there and raved about the food. Sure enough they were right. I took a ride to try it for the first time this evening. I ordered the mussels in red sauce appetizer, eggplant Parmesan, and a margarita pizza. The food was absolutely wonderful. The service is outstanding from Grace the waitress, Chris and Javier in the back and John the owner. I will be back over and over. The food is great, the service is outstanding, and they made me feel at home. Thank you guys great job.“

“Went in today to enjoy one of their lunch specials, but was told all they have for specials now are 2 pieces of pizza and a drink or a 1/2 of a sub with French fries. No more 1/2 sub /w soup or any of the other great lunch specials I have enjoyed. I love the food but do not want French fries with my Italian food.“
“We love ordering from Hungry Howies and order from there about once a week. The staff is always friendly and prompt and food is excellent. Just one slight problem tonight, we ordered a Italian sub and chef salad with Italian dressing, well today we did not get the dressing with our salad. Good thing we have dressing at home, so it’s not really a big deal. I just really enjoy their Italian dressing. We always enjoy their food and will continue to!!!“

“Nobody should work for these people.. They are abusive to their employees. they steal their pay and they make people work off the clock and overtime without proper pay. When I made a big deal of it. I got paid on a Wed and gave these brothers all the Is opportunities to come talk to me and straighten it out. I was told on Wed it would be taken care of. It was not. Than told I had their WORD (not that that ment much) that someone would come in on Sat to fix everything. Not even a message sent to the store that they were not coming. I stayed with Johnny from LWR store till 1035 and nothing. Than on Sunday had the NERVES to call me to fill in for a CALL OUT. I went in to work that day. Also Sal don't make me post your text to me that Monday. U know yall are wrong that's why your acting like this. If yall just took better care of the people that work for yall. “I’m from the North suburbs of Chicago, and this place is just like the food I bought at home. Great Italian beefs, GREAT beef tamales, great Chicago thin crust pizza. All order more different items soon. Good Italian sausage too! I live in Edgewater and I constantly check the calendar to see when they are in my area……. If I order pizza I place an online order because there is a wait…. But that’s what you get when they make it fresh! Sometimes I’ll order a hot dog and tamale and eat that while I wait, but the online ordering is efficient. I would definitely recommend that for deep dish. Go Cubs!!“
