This was our first visit, we were there at 5:15 on a Thursday night. The cocktails were great and with the happy hour price making them $6 it was very nice. We did not order an appetizer. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, it was very tasty, the grits were to runny but the meal was good, portion size was less than expected. I had the Ahi Tuna, it was seared perfectly. Good food at a really nice setting. $25 shrimp and grits is a bit steep but it was good. The much praised meatloaf was just meatloaf. Good place for a family celebration but pricey and noisey.
We really wanted to love this place. The location is great, it's nice on the inside and outside, the menu was amazing. We wanted to try everything! But, the items we did try were disappointing. The oysters were good, but every bite included shell fragments. The cajun dip... flavorless. And don't expect a gluten free pita. You get tortilla chips. The fish tacos were just ok.
