The food , maybe just mine wasn’t that good, i had the cajun pasta , my partner had the salmon and they said it was great, i had heard the pasta was awesome so i was expecting it to be up to that recommendation but it wasn’t. “My first time experience in talavera was great and the restaurant had a nice vibe. Our server Javier was fantastic and the food was delicious. What good is it to bring out a salad or app quickly, slide it on the table and disappear like the wind without noticing you have delivered food without your customers being able to eat it because there are no utensils. So you sit and try to get someone's attention as they fly by and ask for what should have been delivered in the first place. This has opened several times. A one time fluke, hey we all have those moments but several times is indicative of lack of attention. Now about the food. Amazingly delicious whatever you order. This time it was the Texas burger! Lots of kids playing in the courtyard having a blast and my kids ran into some teammates from their soccer team, so while the adults ate, drank and conversed, the kids entertained themselves. The ambiance was typical sports bar with deferent football helmets and other sports memorabilia with TVs showing sports. Food is also typical sports bar food. We ordered hot dogs for the kids which they like and I tried a bite and it was great. We also ordered Tacos which are really good as well as the wings. Hot dog came with fries which I took some from my kids shhhh please don't tell. As far as drinks it's mainly beer which I'm really not a beer drinker but they had a large selection. I ordered hard cider which I was happy they had. There was also live music which was entertaining. Service was a bit slow but understandably because the place was packed and I feel like it was one or maybe two people serving so the poor guy was running around trying to keep us all happy. It was refreshing to actually get carrot sticks, celery, sticks, and a decent blue cheese dressing with my wings. The wings themselves were very tasty as was the tomato bisque, the coleslaw, of which I am a big fan. The fries were yummy and it was obvious that they were prepared properly in the correct oil temperature( 375-395 degrees, depending on the size of the batch). They were light and crispy. Aside from the food, the other highlight was the bartender Gabby, who provided excellent customer service. She was prompt, courteous, professional, and possessed a $1,000.000 smile?. I also met and had a nice conversation with some of the regulars. If you have not been to Duffy’s I urge you to experience it. I am looking forward to returning.“

“On our trip to Miami we went to eat at Black Market Bayside which we really liked, it has an excellent location, a very good view of Bayside, attentive and friendly staff, prices within the ranges of the city, the food is very good, both the potatoes , like the picaña cut, the music programming was very good and they have a wide variety of screens to watch sports, the weather is spectacular. Only one detail was that they add a tip to the bill, which should be optional, well they do that in all the restaurants in Miami, but for everything else the stay at the restaurant was good. I paired this with the beautifully crunch onion rings which came fresh and golden brown. There was a burnt orange colorwdlled sauce with my meal, and while I don't know if it was intended for rhe onion rings or sandwich, I used it on both. One things I do know for sure, is it was delicious!! Slightly spicy and packed with bold flavors.Because I intended to order the Burnt ends, I initially ordered a glass of red wine. Not sure what it was exactly, but it was nice and dry with a bold robust mouth feel, but not too bitter, just the way I like it.My husband ordered 8 jerk wings and a side of chili cheese fries. He describes them as "juicy and flavorful". The show string fries were salty and satisfying, to say the least.Overall, 10/10 experience.“

“The food here is good. You get alot of white people who stare at you at this bar. You can tell white people feel uncomfortable around blacks but they don't give blacks a hard time. This place was packed with whites and way more blacks came in by the end of our visit maybe because it was happy hour lol because the food and drinks are good. The staff in the back and cooks are black, so this definitely lets me know that white people who work there have their opinions of black people, they simply tolerate black people. You can tell that there is a difference. I am black and its a little uncomfortable to be in a bar like this, but it could be worse, so i wont complain, im just explaining the atmosphere. We tipped the server very nicely and she was thrilled about that. We like to break stereo types. We got the sandwich with the coleslaw. I don't eat cole slaw but I tore this sandwich up! It was so very good. The wings were friggin delicious and had a different kind of sauce, believe it or not the banana dessert is GOOD. I was reluctant to try it, but it was so good. The category 5 drink WILL get you buzzed, i don't care who you are. CAT 5 drink is strong on liquor, not on taste just so you know. I had a category 5 drink and it got me right. I followed that up with a category 2 drink and it was a good day! All in all the feel of the bar is people who are reserved with different races until you show them otherwise and become a regular there. It is what it is. The guy I went with is a regular, he is black but they haven't fully accepted him yet lol. That takes time. The food is good. You should try it.“
