Las Cholitas Peruvian Cuisine

I have only been here twice, but I can say the food here is why you should come. It is pricey and the service is good, but the food OMG, the food, really fantastic. Let's start with the positives, the food is really good. Especially the ceviche which in my opinion is the best for miles around. The tamales are good. They have some really cool desserts. Very good service and food was good. Hubby had the papa a la huancaina and pollo a la brasa. He felt the pollo was too peppery, which he isn't a fan of but enjoyed the huancaina. I had the lomo, which was good. Good quality steak. Prices are typical Peruvian restaurant prices, which tend to be a bit pricey. Loved this little spot! Las Cholitas was a cute little restaurant in a plaza with many other selections (Japanese, American, Spanish, Caribbean) I'm amazed to have had a friend who'd known of this place and had great recommendations. I had just had dinner before heading over here and decided to have a savory "dessert". I was oddly craving Ceviche.
