“Absolutely the most DEPLORABLE take out experience of my entire life!!! NOT EVEN EDIBLE FOOD!!!! My husband's chili came as an emptied cup that looked like food was previously stored in and dumped out. Not to mention myself and my grandmother ordered medium steaks and they came BURNT. My grandma actually indicated that she thinks the steak that she ordered SMELLED!!. Mine was supposed to be the chimichuri entree and i dont even know what i received? When my husband returned to the restaurant, the manager was rude and acted as if the situation did no warrant a full refund and indicated "it's only food"!!! As a local business owner, I do everything I can to solve issues so it does not come down to leaving a negative review as I know how negativity impactful it can be to a company. However, we spent $150 on dinner, received completely inexcusable food, and was pretty much told it's not a big deal".“

“Cody’s Original Roadhouse Port Charlotte This place is in Port Charlotte Town Center Mall. It looks cool from the outside and even cooler on the inside. We got there on a Thursday night about 5ish. This place was hopping with a lot of people. It was neat and clean, and I loved the interior decorations. Our waitress Brenda was on the ball with our drink, our food orders, and any questions we had because of our first time there. I got a beer, and my wife got a Pina Colada, both were cold and very good. I ordered the 1lb Prime Rib med well with a side of Mashed Potatoes. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon with a side of Baked Sweet Potato in Cinnamon Butter. For an appetizer I ordered the half stick of Jumbo Onion Rings on a stick. Brenda stated she would bring out warm Rolls with Cinnamon Butter and a bowl of Salad that she would mix for the both of us right at the table. Our Onion Rings were very good and very large. The Salad she mixed and served on cold plates it was so good. When our Steaks came out, they looked amazing. Both are steaks were done perfect and they were so good. We could practically cut them with a butter knife they were that tender. Our side of Mashed Potatoes and the Sweet Potato was also very good. All our food was hot and flavorful. Brenda kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect even a manager stopped by and asked us how the food was. Our food was some of the best we had in this area in fact the entire experience was one of the best yet. Special thanks out to Brenda for such excellent service and the good vibe of this place. They do run Specials everyday on food and drinks you just have to check. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars because of the great experience we had there. “A delightful experience in a private room for our 10 guests. Most meals were exceptional, but did not provide a vegetarian selection. Service was great and gentleman was fun. We kept him busy, but I wish he would have asked other waitresses to help upon delivery of food. Water glasses not refilled, but drinks kept flowing. We ate at Maurys and also Half Crack and both restaurants were out of 3-4 popular selections. Would try again.“
