“I always had a great experience food was always good whether we ate in or did take out. but tonight was different ....we did take out the wings were very small and overcooked 20 wings and you only get one little small - very good tasting I might add- container of blue cheese so you ask for another one and they charge you $1. 😵‍💫wish we would have ate in, cuz the wings would have definitely been sent back. the french fries were overcooked too they would have went back also.😥“

“We tried Elena's yesterday while visiting Punta Gorda. We really liked our experience. Our waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Service was fast, almost too fast in that our meal arrived before we finished our salad and soup. The food was fresh and tasted great. I personally didn't care for the gravy (with the chicken dinner), but it was okay. Everything else was great. Portion sizes are large. Prices are very, very good. Their menu is diverse, and I'd love to visit again to try some of their other offerings. Great, cozy ambiance feel to the place as well.“

“First time at PC. I typically avoid restaurants with no windows but despite the darker interior this felt warm and cozy. Staff was very welcoming, good cocktails. Lengthy menu with something for everyone. We found the food to be very good but on the “heavier” side - a bit too much salad dressing, crabcake was 50/50 crab to filler maybe. Brussels side dish very weighed down by sauce. You get the picture. Would go back if in the area again but close dishes a bit more carefully.“

“We called with a party of 10 and got a recording stating that reservations were not taken. We arrived and were told that there were no tables available and that we should have made reservations. We explained that we tried to and showed the Hostess the Website and number we called. We asked to speak with the Manager to make him aware of the website. Travis introduced himself and seated us temporarily outside( it was not the best of Florida weather this night) and had staff circle heaters around our table and brought us complimentary appetizers until they could accommodate all of us. Travis gave us his personal cell # and in our opinion went above and beyond to make this a Special Evening for all of us. This is not our first time here, but it was with such a large group. “Went to Burg’r Bar about 5 weeks ago before having shoulder surgery. We loved it. Best burger and fries I’ve had in Florida. We sat outside and our server was great!!! Why do people write about how great it was and then give it 4 stars instead of 5??? I’m in Punta Gorda today (3/18/22) and as soon as I get done with my final post op appointment, we’re headed to the Burg’r Bar again!!! YUM!!!“

“We had a family luncheon at this location. As always Beef O'Bradys came through. All our meals came out at the same time and were all hot and fresh. Our server Haven't did a spectacular job taking care of all of us and she did not miss a beat as well. If you have not been to a Beef O'Bradys yet I highly recommend your give them a try.....“

“During our recent visit to the Waffle House in Punta Gorda, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, while my fiancé opted for two eggs, grits, and toast. Both dishes were served promptly and prepared to perfection, resulting in a very satisfying meal. The only suggestion is to put a little less butter on the grits. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very good, however the bathrooms, while generally clean, could benefit from a more thorough cleaning in the future (floor tiles and tops of tiles on wall). Nonetheless, I felt comfortable using the facilities. Our waitress, Christina, provided excellent service, contributing to the overall positive experience. For those seeking a reliable breakfast spot in Punta Gorda, this Waffle House is highly recommended. Even with the $.50 per egg surcharge, the price was very reasonable. I do not mind paying the surcharge. You can tell this restaurant is managed well.“

“I am new to Punta Gorda and enjoyed a cheese cake and pie at a friend's home. I was immediately hooked! I have purchased many of their baked goods including some favorites that I purchase often. The sour dough bread is amazing, and my go to cannoli pastries that are the best I have ever eaten. Nino's is a local stop I make over and over again! Yum“

“Needed a Rum cake for a bday. Only had 1 day to get it. Called all over. No one makes Rum cake in my area. Cakes by Zoe said they'd make it for me. It was delicious and loved by all. “Golden Corral Punta Gorda 5-18-24: Stopped by for dinner at 4:30ish and this place was packed. The parking lot was full and once inside the right side of all the tables were occupied. This place was clean and everything around the food areas were also clean. I have been to this place a couple times as my dad who is 92 loves this buffet and all the food choices. The main food bar is packed with all kinds of food items to choose from. To start at one end is Steak, Mushrooms, Onions & Peppers, Onion Rings, Ribs, Meat Loaf, Fried Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Fried Chicken, Bourbon Street Chicken, Pot Pie, Fried or baked Fish, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Macaroni & Cheese, Rolls, Baked Potatoes, all kinds of vegetables this is just to name a few. On the Taco bar there is Taco Meat, Shells and all the fixings to make any kind of tacos you want. Now the salad bar is packed with all kinds of fruit, and they also have crab salad. There is so much to choose from and too much to name. The desert bar has all kinds of cakes and pies plus ice cream and some fixings for that. I use to get pie and bread pudding for dessert, it was so good. I don’t care for the ice cream but others in my party loved it. I got the steak for the main course, and they will do it how you like it. The Steak was good, not too tough, and not too chewy, it was large enough. I always get the Fried Shrimp and Mashed Potatoes and they both were good and hot. I make sure I get some Pot Pie as it reminds me of back home. It was hot, full of Chicken and very good. I end up with the crab salad now its imitation crab but its good enough for me as I try to stay away from deserts. This place has never disappointed me as far as the quantity of food they have. It is a buffet and if you want a 5 diamond or Michelin star restaurant this may not be the place for you. If you want a large selection of food and food that is tasty this may be just the place for you. I say try it and draw your own conclusion. “This is the best dive bar in the area!! Too much fun no matter when you go in. Service is as expected in a little local biker bar, and everyone is friendly. We have not eaten here, but the food listed on the board sounded good, so maybe on our next trip. It is by far our favorite place to hang out with friends!“
