“Went back to Brooklyn Joe's today. Had the sausage with onions and peppers. It did have red sauce and white American cheese on it. I'm sure you could have provolone or something different if you choose to , but the sandwich was very good. The sausage had a good fresh flavor with a nice spice to it. Plus the pizza by the slice is good. I noticed that older people were seated eating plus young kids coming in to eat. Also workers coming in for lunch. The food is good and the place has a good character about it. The employees have a good personality and all seem to be welcome. Thanks“

I had the “ Tour of Italy” and it was cooked perfectly and no way I could finish it in one sitting. The sauce is probably the best I’ve had since living in SW Florida. On our first visit, there was a big party on the patio, but my partner and I were treated like the only table in the place. Service was smooth, well-paced, and the pizza was fresh and full of flavor. Our most recent visit sealed the deal again. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from Ang and Reina, with Ari greeting us at the door. Everyone we've encountered here, including the young male host, the chefs, have been kind, helpful, and clearly part of a team that supports each other. That kind of environment shows. The parmesan fries were perfect, and the pizza was just as good as we remembered. The food is always consistent, and the cooks deserve just as much credit as the front of house. The Hawaiian is my personal favorite. Pineapple on pizza might not be for everyone, but in Punta Gorda, once a pineapple capital, it fits! Dough Bar delivers every time. Great Food. Great Service.
