She provided food for us to try, some coupons, and she had a great attitude. It’s not often that small businesses get thought of for things like this, so it was really cool that she did that. She has a wonderful personality and I look forward to doing some catering orders through her in the future.“

“I can't express how delicious this food was.. I had the Large oxtails with rice and peas/ mac and cheese along with a jerk chicken platter, the food was so fresh and authentically made with jamaican spices. I love this spot will definitely be back.“
“We are so thrilled that Hey Mon opened up within WALKING distance of our house. We will definitely become regulars. Our whole family loves their Puff Bread . The Roti Bread is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The sauces are delicious! We haven’t even begun to try the dinners but we’ll be back!!! My goal is to make my way through the entire menu by the end of the summer. We go to the Caribbean every year for Spring Break. What a way to have the islands here all year round!“

“Place is really close to home so that's convenient. Good food. Best for takeout, not eating in. They don't speak much English so point to tell them what you want and they'll take care of you. I ordered the vegetable tray, since I'm not eating meat right now. It was seasoned to perfection and perfectly crispy brown. I didn't miss meat at all.“

“Our waiter Larry was very kind and struck up a nice conversation with my son about hockey. We loved the shrimp and pork belly apps. Did the 3 course menu (app, entree and gelato for $50) and were quite pleased! The hazelnut and peanut butter cookies and cream gelato were so good!“

“We flew from New York for my sister-in-law funeral. We were looking for somewhere to catered for the repass. We try several Jamaican restaurant until we get to the Island jerk shack there was nothing compared to this place. They cater for us. The food was spectacular everyone at the repass. enjoy it on complemented it I’m telling you if you ever need somewhere to eat are catered for your function this is the place I recommended. The food was good and I am from New York and if we say the food is good, the food is damn good 100%“

“The Shrimp & Company is a quaint seafood restaurant on the corner of 7th Ave and 22nd St in Ybor City. If you have walked past it headed for the restaurant across the street then you have missed the best seafood you could eat in Tampa. You have to try their Florida or Louisiana Steam Pot, any of the seafood baskets and their shrimp stuffed mondongo. The food and terrific service is worth another trip to the small family owned restaurant. Don’t miss it!“

“Dec.2022 Excellent Jamaican food. There was a group of us there having lunch. We had curried goats, fried fish among other dishes. I had the curried goat and it was very delicious. I was truly impressed and will definitely return whenever I am in town as I was visiting from Texas.“

“Ordered here for the first time today. The customer service and friendliness of the gentleman up front was impeccable. I ordered Griot it was fresh, hot and pretty good. My rice was sooooo good my son ate the entire thing. My husband had the fish, but wasn’t impressed however he also enjoyed the rice. Will we return? “This is such a nice hidden gem. I had a short time for lunch on a weekday and wanted something good to eat. Looked up some places by me and this one came up. When I got there it doesn't look like a restaurant style but it is such a good place to eat. You can grab something already made and the selection is incredible or you can get something that requires some extra love. The food was delicious and a lot. Highly recommend.“

“What an amazing experience. My girlfriends and I went to Lepley's for brunch before a concert.
We had reservations at 11a and were immediately seated. The vibe was so nice, DJ playing music, TV's were playing sports and our waitress was very attentive and catered to our needs. I had catfish and grits and my friends had chicken and waffles with eggs/grits.
Everything was so well seasoned and cooked well. I had a drink and whewww it was nice, strong and good!
We topped it off with the sweet potato brownie.
I expected a brownie and sweet potato combo, but it was just sweet potato's shaped into a brownie with ice cream: it was still very good!
Check out Lepley's for brunch, you won't be disappointed!“
