“A wonderful experience enhanced by Zoey who was an outstanding frontline ambassador for expected service and care. I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). “I've had the breakfast buffet to go SEVERAL times in the past few months. I have my collection of to-go containers to prove it. 😊 The food is always hot, tasty, and filling. This morning I grabbed cheese grits, scrambled eggs, link sausage and home fries. 😋 I also picked up the bread pudding. Delicious!! No pics, because I'm always ready to eat when I get home with the food.

“We just moved to the area and I needed to find a Thai restaurant to rival my old favorite. I found it!! Don't let the simple atmosphere deter you. the food was fantastic. We got salad with peanut dressing, chicken panang curry, beef pad Thai and chicken fried rice. All exceded our hopes. We got thr fried bananas with coconut icecream for dessert. Our server, Louie, was a gem!!! Tanya, one of the owners came to greet and chat with us and was incredibly kind and interested in knowing if we were satisfied. “Our waitress Madison C was wonderful! Attentive, very polite and friendly! Then the food was DELICIOUS! I literally had THE BEST Burger I have had in my lifetime! I chose to make my own. I don’t know if it was the Angus Beef, the DELICIOUS smoked bacon that was cooked with the ends crispy and blackened, or the delicious grilled onions and mushrooms. But I WILL be back and getting this again!! Definitely!!“

“Found this hidden gem on the way to a friend's place! We ordered a Mexican roll, General Tso chicken, and the Korean bulgogi beef. All of the dishes were delicious and I was absolutely blown away with how the bulgogi came SIZZLING to our table! Our server was fast and brought us everything we wanted in a timely manner. “Love the comfy chairs at the Riverview location! I came in for a solo breakfast and great service by Hunter even before I sat at the table. Once the hostess took me to my table I let her know I needed to use the restroom and by the time I got back Hunter already had a Glass of ice water and coffee at the table which I really thought was great since sometimes you have to wait a bit for just a glass of water. I spent 19 years in hospitality mainly managing and I watched Hunter interact with his tables and I can see Hunter is a great server; anticipating guest needs, making genuine connections and food suggestions. After COVID the hospitality industry has been having a rough time finding good workers and I think this location nailed it with Hunter.“

“Stopped here for lunch with my sister and niece. Service was friendly and quick. They have a lunch menu and their hibachi lunch is $13.95- include chicken (my choice), vegetables, soup or salad, and fried rice. For was good and it felt like a dinner sized portion. There was enough to have another full meal. My sister got the poke bowl which as also $13.95 and said it was delicious. Very generous with the tuna and salmon.

“This place rocks! We called ahead for a Pickup on a Thursday night. We got the Crab Rangoons, Beef with Veggies, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Crab Rangoons were tasty lightly battered and cream treats. My favorite was the Beef with Veggies since the beef was tender, thin cut, and plentiful and the veggies were al dente and overall delicious classic Chinese food. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was amazing as well it was golden brown, lightly battered, and delicious. I’d say it was the best Sweet and Sour Chicken I’ve had in Tampa Bay since I’ve never had any that perfectly fried and the batter so thin and crispy yet fluffy. Cheers!“

“Food is absolutely delicious… if you want a FLAVOR BOMB in your mouth come here , and SUPER fresh BEST crab rangoons I’ve ever had the filling was a burst of flavor and the wrap wasnt too thin or too thick it was literally perfect even the sauce to dip it in was amazing…you can tell the crab rangoons were made from scratch and the recipe has been perfected. The rice is very flavorful the sweetness from the peas and the savoriness from the onion is the perfect combination,noodles are soft and uniquely made in the best way possible. the most savory fried wings I’ve ever had, very crispy and juicy. And the fortune cookie was also very yellow not pale you can tell it’s good quality and I like how it actually does have a fortune in it not just a quote like in other places and in the back a word in Chinese so you can learn.
