Malio's Beach House Reviews
We went to Malio’s Beach House last night for the first time. We started out at the bar. Edward, our Bartender, was outstanding!! He made a perfect Manhattan, that my Father-in-Law raved about! We went there for a first anniversary. We had the most amazing time. Our waiter Jonathan could not have been better. Everything was just perfection.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Malio’s Beach House, and it was an unforgettable experience! As a regular at their Tampa locations for decades, the Iavarone’s have struck gold, and brought an impeccable dining experience to the beach. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning ambiance. The restaurant perfectly blends a sophisticated vibe with elegant decor, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Check out the bathroom...read full review

Malio’s Beach House in St. Pete offers an exceptional dining experience characterized by excellent food, elegant atmosphere, and attentive service. The restaurant is praised for its beautiful interior, which provides enough space between tables for an intimate dinner, making it a top choice for special occasions like anniversaries. Guests often highlight the quality and flavor of the food, noting especially the tender, juicy filets cooked to perfection, the outstanding bananas Foster, and the delicious seafood options such as blackened scallops, shrimp Theresa, and sea bass Theresa style. The bread served is also highly praised, described as the best with garlic salt and butter.
The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, with a staff that consistently provides first-class service. The manager is frequently mentioned for going above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and cared for, even accommodating last-minute seating requests. The drinks, including Michter’s and lemon drop martinis, are described as ice-cold and refreshing, complementing the meal well.
However, some reviews note the restaurant’s small size and high noise level, which can detract from the experience. Prices are considered high, with meals costing around $300 for two, which some guests feel is expensive for the value, especially when compared to similar dishes at more casual restaurants. There are also occasional comments about overcooked appetizers or disappointment with side dishes like baked potato or corn puree. Despite these minor issues, Malio’s Beach House remains a highly recommended spot for those seeking great food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service in St. Pete.
