Anyone know if they are going to reopen or not ?
Coney Island closed in March 2021 for good. Very sad. I ate there for 50 years and now the owner's Son doesn't want to keep it open. It appears that he doesn't even want to sell the business. A previous longtime employee said he was never really interested in the business, alas, it's closed. The owner has said that he wants to reopen but he's in his 80's, so that probably won't happen.
Ate there in my lunch hour. Great dogs and hamburgers, Milk shakes. They need to reopen soon.
