Tenía mucho antojo de calentado paisa, lo que recibí fue unos frijoles aguados con arroz, la arepa empapada en grasa, pedí adición de huevos y los trajeron a los 10 minutos bañados en aceite, mi esposo pidió un desayuno Valluno y le trajeron huevos pericos revueltos con arroz y la arepa bañada en grasa, eso no es comida Colombiana, espero que mejoren la comida para poder volver a comer e invitar amigos.
First I want to say that my family loves to support local restaurant. We went to the soft open today at Land O' Lakes. We ordered the following: My husband ordered the Bandeja Paisa, daughter ordered the Fajitas, we also ordered 4 beef empanadas and 4 bunuelos and of course our 3 drinks.

Past server here - don't work here if you're bilingual! Owner lied about pay, stifled me on my last paycheck and I told him I don't speak fluent Spanish from the beginning but claimed something different but I actually understand it when being spoke to- guess he doesn't remember things and seemed to have taken things personal on Google lol I don't care I was let go but what I do care about is integrity- you can do better. Mi Carreta Restaurant & Bakery offers fantastic Colombian food that brings back good memories. The typical platter is a highlight, and the Colombian staple Bandeja paisa and Filete Al Ajillo con Camerones are delicious and filling. Appetizers like empanadas, ceviche de chicacaron, and chorizo con arepa do not disappoint. Portions are gracious, feeding a family of five with leftovers from La Parrillada maduros and fries and an order of empanadas de carne. Breakfast is delicious and super fresh. Excellent coffee and fresh jugo de laranja from the best oranges are a must. The front end has a small bakery serving fresh juices, coffee, sweet breads, and pastries, including Buñelos and pandebono to go. The service varies; some servers are wonderful, friendly, and attentive, while others are mediocre and lacking. A lounge attached holds live music on weekends. It is well worth the drive for authentic Colombian taste.
