The food is great, but the service over at the bakery section sucks. When you have more than two customers you got to get stepping. If you see your customer standing there for more than 20 minutes and ignored the fact that she was next in line.. Seriously?
I very much recommend the Empanadas.
other than that; I'm not sure;
the last two times we ordered delivery we were missing large portions of our order.
The last order, we didn't get the Gloria Pastel or Guava Cheese Pastry that we paid for.
The previous delivery, we tried to sample items other than empanadas, and they too failed to be delivered.
I truly do love the empanadas, but caveat emptor.

Mi Carreta Restaurant & Bakery offers fantastic Colombian food that brings back good memories. The typical platter is a highlight, and the Colombian staple Bandeja paisa and Filete Al Ajillo con Camerones are delicious and filling. Appetizers like empanadas, ceviche de chicacaron, and chorizo con arepa do not disappoint. Portions are gracious, feeding a family of five with leftovers from La Parrillada maduros and fries and an order of empanadas de carne. Breakfast is delicious and super fresh. Excellent coffee and fresh jugo de laranja from the best oranges are a must. The front end has a small bakery serving fresh juices, coffee, sweet breads, and pastries, including Buñelos and pandebono to go. The service varies; some servers are wonderful, friendly, and attentive, while others are mediocre and lacking. A lounge attached holds live music on weekends. It is well worth the drive for authentic Colombian taste.
