“On a recent visit with our adventure club, which included a food and beer exploration with Sanford Food Tours, we had the pleasure of visiting several hot spots across Downtown Sanford. However, among all the flavors and experiences, including some gems like Hollerbach and Buster's, the one gem that really stood out unanimously as our favorite was Dees Bros.This family-operated brewery and eatery is run by two brothers who craft their own beer while one of their wives brings authentic family recipes to life. They provided us with an unforgettable dining experience filled with samples of some great dishes as well as their signature Cotswolds Ale. The warmth and dedication of the family not only shines through in their interactions but also in every dish and brew they offer.Our samples at Dees Bros included their Hot Ham & Sliders, Grandma's Swedish Meatballs, Spent Grain Pretzel with Gooey Beer Cheese Dip, and the amazingly refreshing Swedish Cucumbers. Each dish was a masterpiece of traditional and family-inspired cooking. It was so good we went back for more after our tour was over!Our beer selections, the Cotswolds Ale and the Aquadnauts, complemented the meal beautifully. The Cotswolds Ale, an English Amber Ale, was praised by our group for its easy-drinking nature and versatility with the diverse flavors of our dishes. But for me it was the Aquadnauts, a Belgian Quad, that stole the show. I would describe it as one of the best Belgian Quads I've ever had; its complex flavors and smooth finish made it a memorable part of my visit. We'll definitely be going back whenever we make it back to Sanford.Overall, our visit to Dees Bros was nothing short of exceptional. “SBC is our go-to stop for lunch and a growler refill when we fly into Sanford; we've come to expect really good food and service which is what keeps us coming back. Our most recent stop was on Thursday and our server was Chris. The bar has been set high in the past, but Chris was exceptional. He chatted a little, checked in with us regularly, and was always working. Without exception, just when we would think we were ready for something, he was magically right there on the spot. Very impressive and worth noting. We had the pretzel bites and grilled mahi sandwich. Food was really good as usual, but the service was especially worthy of a shoutout.“

We each had a four flight tasting, and it was hard to pick a favorite, but the sours and pumpkin pie spice cider won the day. Thanks Steven for the hospitality. The girls working that night were nice and happy to let you try something if you want to check it out.I was disappointed that they did not have a sour and got the cider instead.Wish they had a better explanation on the list they have, to know what they are to make it easier to decide.A cute place to check out!“
“This is my favorite brewery by far. The beer is excellent and something new is always come out. My favorites are their sours. The staff are the best and great at remembering people. We've made friends with several of their bartenders.The taproom is full of memorabilia and fun murals on the walls. There's a long line of pinball machines and a mystery vending machine. They also have a mini game console at the bar and a variety of board games and comics to borrow while you visit. They don't sell food, but you are welcome to bring in outside food.Hourglass holds really fun events and lets you use their taproom for your own personal event. Right now they frequently have food vendors rotate throughout the months. They also do bingo nights, run club, and trivia nights.There's so many places to sit both inside and outside along the building. Parking is usually always available all around the building but can get full during big sport events on tv or events happening in the bar. If a major event is going to go on, they give advance notice on best places for extra parking nearby.“
“As all the other reviews point out it is off the beaten path but it was perfect for my friends who rode their bikes there. My first visit although they are frequent patrons. I enjoyed the Up River but would like to try some of the other brews. Great staff.“

“Great environment. Food and beers are always fantastic. Big orange is our go to. It’s light and tasty. If they have the blueberry beer, add half of that with the big orange. It’s called a fruit loop. Sooooo good. Ahi tuna is sushi grade and delicious. All their unique taco combinations and options are always a hit. They definitely stand out from all the other taco places. ? Mac attack and trailer park are just a few of our favorites.Gabby was an incredible server. She goes above and beyond for her customers. We had a group of 25 people. She set all the decorations up for us and handled the large group on her own. All the staff was accommodating and amazing. Service was 5 star! “Nice Brewery located in the Oviedo Mall. Fairly large establishment that was generally busy during a Saturday afternoon. They have a small selection of signature brews along with a few imports from around the area. Since it was my first time, I sampled a few first. The On Par Ale was a bit hoppy for me, so I went with the Red Bug Red American Amber. It was bold and smooth, just as I like it (ended up having 2). They have food as well with a limited offering. I had the Smashed Sammy. 2 beef burgers with all the fixings plus a couple slices of jalapeño bacon (add on) and kettle chips (+1). The burger and chips were very good and a great compliment to the Red. Recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.“
“We attended a home brewing class, with Andy as our instructor. It was very informative and fun. Andy did a great job explaining the process and getting us involved. And there was no 'big push' to buy products. I would definitely attend another class here...Kombucha brewing class, especially!“
