“Panko fried shrimp Very good! Cooked to perfection. Coleslaw flavorful! Margarita flat bread *amazing. For an appetizer, it was flavorful, colorful, and filling. Chicken tenders *crunchy, juicy, filling. For an appetizer it was enough to fill me for lunch. Mary was our server and she did a fantastic job. Mom and I had Doc's for lunch and have leftovers to enjoy for later and will be back again!“

“This the Classic French restaurant you’re going to share with good friends! We were a group of 10 foodies from various and distinct backgrounds. We did the prefix dinner with wine pairings. Our expectations were high based on what we read about this jem and none was disappointed. The escargot and onion soup were spot on, the trout almondine and Beef Bourguignon were exceptional, but by far the star of the meal was the steak frites. A sublime surprise accompanied by a bordelaise sauce, a side of béarnaise and a small crock of blue cheese sauce shared by the chef! The wine pairings were all from Bordeaux, decanted and beyond excellent. Do not forget to order dessert! I can’t wait for our next rendezvous“

“Oh, I so hope the best for the owner rebuilding this perfect restaurant after vicious Ian. This place rates a 5 in all areas! I breakfast here basically every morning regardless how many weeks I stay on Sanibel. Good luck and I’ll be back as soon as possible!??“
“Popped in with my besty Anna for a couple of scoops. Anna had a espresso with ice cream and I had 2 scoops of the chocolate. Well, it was so good that we went back in for seconds!“

“Well for starters the escargot, raw oysters, and oysters Rockefeller were out of this world. Both the red and white clam chowder were like perfection in a bowl. My entrée was the baked stuffed shrimp and hands down AMAZING. Our waitress was YO and she knew everything about the history of the restaurant to the menu. I was very interested in the collection of oyster shells on the walls and she explained that as well. TEN STARS !!! I recommend to anyone who loves fresh seafood and visits Sanibel Island.“

“Hello- Just moved here from Connecticut. I have eaten at the Sanibel deli 3 times now. First 2 times I ate wraps = great. Today on June 2, 2025 - I ordered 2 pizzas to share with my friends at SIP - these Islanders have eaten at the restaurant many times— never tried the pizza. We had the “Untanned Tourist’ and the “Diana Ross “Supreme “” — both were delicious. Coming from Connecticut, we have some of the best pizza in America, and I was worried about my pizza fix - I am happy 😊 to go back and get more pizzas in the future. The SIP friends will be ordering pizzas in the future and we all want to try the cheese cakes = looked scrumptious. Delicious food and the owner works his a$$ets off to serve his customers. “highlights of Traders is the best "Chef"- Mike Patnode. He is Superb in his menu selections and has excellent recommendations and the reputation to back it up. Good to see u doing so well, one day I will be there for a stay and I will come to Trader's to see you. Joni“
