My girlfriend and I stopped into Casa Masa at The Landings for lunch, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we sat down, Emily made us feel welcome. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu with great recommendations without ever making us feel rushed.

Food is terrific. Best Mole I have ever had and all other items ordered at our table received raves.
Delicious and creative craft tacos, cool atmosphere, very clean bathrooms. 5 stars, will be back again and again. The only thing that would have put it over the top for me is a mocktail menu.

Casa Masa The Landings is a fun spot for Mexican inspired food with a creative twist in the Sarasota area. The menu has plenty of unique choices, and everything tried was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The tacos and margaritas are especially worth trying, and the hangover taco is a must. The lamb birria had immense flavor, perfectly savory with a smooth taste. A burrito with pork was thrilling, and the hot sauce is spectacular if you like heat but want a good flavor as well. The homemade chips with blue corn are absolutely amazing, and the homemade black corn chips with the guacamole were amazing. The guacamole is fresh and outstanding, and the chips, salsa and homemade guac are amazing. The Duck Tacos and the Pork Belly Tacos are favorites and never disappoint. The sweet tea was good. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, pretty calm, more of a fun bar than a sit down and have dinner but great for both. The service is terrific, friendly, attentive, and happy to make recommendations. The staff and waiters made us laugh with their fun vibes and their hospitality. The place is outstanding, nice and clean, and completely spotless. With generous portions, great flavors, and plenty of parking, this is an easy place to recommend for a casual lunch or dinner.
