I went here for the first time with my son (one of his favorite places) and I really enjoyed the meal. A different type of cuisine for me and it was so delicious. I’m looking forward to going back. The mushroom soup was so delicious, also the chicken cutlets. I heard that they also have a great lunch special, so if you’re there, you must try the soups!!!!
We Had a few parties already in this lovely place! It was a great service, delicious food, reasonable prices! Definitely recommend anybody who wants to try something delicious, homemade, like at my grandma’s house)
Enjoyed a lovely dinner- the kharcho, Khachapuri, chicken & lamb shish kebobs, fried potatoes with garlic and dill were all delicious! Service was also great! Definitely will be going back when we're up in Sarasota!

Garden of Joy in Sarasota has been offering homemade, delicious Eastern European and Western Asian cuisine since December 2023. Owned by a husband-and-wife team, the restaurant provides friendly service, though it can be slow at times. The menu features fresh dishes like fresh salad, solyanka, kharcho, Khachapuri, chicken and lamb shish kebobs, and fried potatoes with garlic and dill. A must-try dessert is the Syrniki. Vegetarian options are available but need to be clearly marked. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, and reservations are not required. Guests appreciate the pleasant, tidy, and inexpensive dining spot with great service. The fresh bread baked on premises is highly praised, and customers note that it takes months to try all the dishes. While parking is limited with only 2-4 spots, visitors are glad to have found this place. The atmosphere has a retro vibe with Russian music playing, adding to the authentic experience. Visitors especially love the authentic Russian cuisine that reminds them of homemade meals from grandmothers’ kitchens. Overall, Garden of Joy is a cozy spot for those seeking delicious, homemade Eastern European and Western Asian dishes.
