Sweet Tomatoes

We always have a good meal and experience at Sweet Tomatoes. This time was no exception. I had a coupon for 20% off, but was surprised to leard that they had a senior menu special for $8.99 with beverage, so we took advantage. The salad bar was very clean and the food presentation very nice. A couple of items that are worthy of note - the Apple Cranberry Cobbler was fantastic and the ice cream machine provided very firm ice cream instead of the usual thin and soft. The salad bar was fresh and had a nice variety of salads, toppings, and dressings. The broccoli salad was fabulous! There were many soups to choose from and all were delicious. Three pastas were offered along with a couple of pizzas and there was fruit, ice cream (chocolate and vanilla with toppings), and creamy chocolate mousse for dessert. This place is still a great salad lunch spot. After many years there is still Fresh salads, soups, pastas & homemade muffins as well as nice deserts. The place was clean and the the food was fine. There is plenty of parking and the staff was very friendly.
