“We love Goombay’s. From the first time we walked in, Goombay’s has been a friendly, welcoming business. The servers are very nice, efficient and fun. The food is delicious. The food and drink selection is the best. I love the customers. They’re friendly and outgoing. It’s always a good time. Mary is great. She’s a very kind lady. She not only values us as customers but has been very supportive of me as I’ve dealt with a health situation. She’s taken the time to sit with me, talk about her experiences, about my situation, offer options and totally support me during a difficult time. I can’t say enough positive things about her. I highly recommend Goombay’s for a great meal and good time!“

“This place is amazing, the mamas special coffee was out of this world! the owner even had his mother here with him. Where the mamas coffee originated lmao, we ordered a couple muffins with chocolate, and this gentleman brought over some extra treats and called it a chocolate buffet! Most homey place in town! Only downside is that it’s open Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Which means I’ll have to wait 5 whole days to get another’s mamas coffee lmao“

“I lived on Long Island for my first 50 something years, this was by far the best lobster roll I've ever had, I'm glad i tried it! No skimping on lobster and as fresh as you could get! Cold one today, warm one next time! 👍🏻“

“Everything was absolutely delicious! You MUST go and try the flash fried spinach and the Chef's grits. Since spinach is my favorite food, I eat it anytime, any place, but this is completely unique! Did I mention the fish was exquisite as well? I had their famous onion crusted fish, tonight it was Mahi Mahi on the 39.00 three course special. Generous wine pour too! Great date night place, and everyone in the place cared about your satisfaction. Warm and friendly vibe!“

“Bunky’s is the perfect place to end your day at Paradise Beach! Omg! It was amazing. Our server Elizabeth was incredible! The red sangria and the Mai Thai were great. “Our first time here and it was fantastic! Great service - this is a slower paced dinning experience. We made reservations and prob would suggest the same if you are specific on where you want to sit. Every table has a great view. Menu, heavy on seafood options, has something for everyone. Hand crafted cocktails and a great wine selection. We both spilt the Brevardian board (steak with seasonal veggies and pickled veggies) with a salad and that was enough. We shared the sliders and heavily enjoyed the pumpkin ginger tiramisu. Can not say enough wonderful things. We will be back.“

“I usually love going to Chart House in Melbourne for special occasions or happy hour. Last night missed the mark for my husband and I. We went to celebrate our 12th anniversary. We chose to sit at the bar and eat from the early dining menu and the happy hour menu. When mentioning it was our anniversary the bartender didn't even acknowledge it. The appetizers, salads and drinks were delicious. I ordered the shrimp pasta for my entree. The shrimp was overcooked and tough. The pasta lacked flavor. I ate some of the shrimp and decided to take the rest home to "flavor it up". We were finished eating for about 20 minutes before the bartender came to ask if I wanted a box. I couldn't get his attention because he had a stack of guest checks from one of the waiters. By the time he brought the box and asked if I wanted the creme brulee I originally ordered I asked him to box it up because I had been waiting so long. He didn't even recognize how long it had been. All he said was, this is my 7th day. I gave him grace, but it's still unacceptable considering we went to celebrate and left feeling negative about the experience.“

“I am a snowbird from PA. When my husband was alive we enjoyed your restaurant sitting having drinks and dinner with several friends and family. I was in your establishment in Feb. On a Friday evening waited over 2 hours to be seated. I was told an hour plus I am a diabetic and started to not feel well. Once seated we were sat at a tall table for 8. The pipes above one of my guests had water dripping on her and her food. Since we ate there numerous times we also were disappointed in food we were served. It was a special day celebrating my daughter's 25th anniversary. Needless to say we will not be returning.“

“My wife and I celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary there last night. It was outstanding.

Scott allowed us to play a special song to celebrate, which we danced to, and completed the evening with an excellent meal and service from Kaylee.

I ordered the seafood special, which included lobster on a bed of rice. My wife ordered the grouper special with lemon capers.

The bread was fresh, the wine list was not extensive but had plenty of variety, from lower cost labels to top notch, both reds and whites, French, Italian, and even rose. They only serve beer and wine.
After our lobster bisque (also excellent), we danced, ate our meal, and had a very nice dessert.

Service: 5*
Atmosphere: 5*

Reservations are required, which we did. The dinner is an experience, plan on 2 hours or so.

A bit pricey, but arguably the best meal in Brevard County, and well worth it.

“I’d like to start this review with saying how attentive and kind our server, Chris, was during our two visits over the last month. He was on top of the entire experience, and his recommendations were on par. We had him our first visit, and we requested him again for our second visit because it was 10x more enjoyable with him as our server. The food was fantastic, lovely portions and appetizers. Just an excellent place to eat, easily the best location I’ve been to.“

“This place has a sweet setting right on the beach. Parking is a challenge and is now done with a valet in a very small lot. We have had mixed results dining at BB’s. Some food has been well-prepared, and some has been undercooked and underseasoned. Some drinks have been good and others could have been better. Someone never checking on us after the food arrived makes it tough to point out the short-comings. This is what occurred during our most recent visit. My feeling is that for the prices they are charging, these things should not occur.“

Got 4 different slices and shared a small part of each with my girlfriend. The only change from my youthful memory is the current staff are friendly where back in 2000-2003 when I first went there it was like the Seinfeld Soup guy 😆.
