“As any Riverview native, I too was hesitant upon learning another new resident was taking over an iconic Riverview corner staple. I had heard great things regarding the Selfie Subs truck further South, however, the amount of change in my hometown has been overwhelming. After sitting in morning traffic to take my daughter to school since August I continuously saw the eatery to be consistently open the posted times and continued to bring in positive reviews. I stopped in on a whim for some wings and the child crowd pleaser of chicken tenders. The wings are a good size and "selfie blast" caught me off guard with the perfect tangy kick balancing the Buffalo. As the mother of a picky eater I am happy to announce my my daughter has now requested chicken tenders and fries here, twice. The Philly pleasantly surprised me too; it's not a steakums run of the mill cheesesteak. There was a bit of chargrilled crust on the steak pieces which brought great flavor, it wasn't dry nor too soggy. The owner is a stand up personable guy as well; both accomodating and welcoming. He makes this little corner feel like old school Riverview. Next, we try breakfast!“

“Yes, this is a chain but very few locations in Florida. I used to eat this a lot in Indiana and glad there is one here. It's just a very solid sandwich. The bread is good and the meats, cheeses, and toppings are fresh. It is very like a Publix sub but a touch better in my opinion. If you're in the area check one out! Jazzi was amazing as well. She provided excellent customer service from start to finish!!

“This amazing little Sandwich Shop has BIG flavors going on in its kitchen! I had the pleasure of trying there grilled steak sandwich and Cuban sandwich with all the fixings and they were amazing! As I pulled apart my sandwich from the middle cut, I had just the right amount of cheese pull. The bread is to die for! I also tried their white rice with chicken stew and it was heaven on a plate. The staff was very nice to include the restaurant's owner Ms Cuca...who gave us a genuine smile as soon as we walked into the store. This place is a Latin Mom and Pops spot that you must visit for authentic Latin cuisine“

“This is such a hidden gem! My boyfriend took me here for their Cuban sandwiches and it is so good! Everything is just perfect. The crunchiness of the bread is out of this world! The ham, lettuce, pickles, and mustard is perfectly proportion. The price is super reasonable! I also love their guava pastries! So delicious! Highly recommended if you love Cuban sandwiches!“

“Last year for my small business Christmas party I want to Firehouse Subs for catering. The price was amazing. But when we set up that evening we noticed that the order was flipped, mostly veggie sandwiches and very little meat, it was ordered the other way. My husband ran to Public and got meat and Firehouse Subs refunded my money and offered to remake the order, which I declined. This year, I tried them again. It was PERFECT!! Everyone ate everything and the price, again, amazing. Thank you Firehouse Subs, we look forward to next year!!“

“Hello can't believe after coming 2 x , there's no pastrami, same server from when we 1 st came in and she said the same thing!! I believe that if you the manager should order more , knowing this pro- mo is doing well.hopefully l can give a better review!!
Update: Nov.22nd ,we stopped by and 3 x is a charm, we got the classic pastrami and a chipotle pastrami and we can see why it's a hit , we was met by 2 associates one cooked and the other made sandwiches, very professional and courteous , thank you , definitely recommend.😁👍🙏“

This was lunch at work and I was not provided the utensils to cut the meat. 2nd issue is, all the dressing is on the top and no where near enough for the size of the salad. “This place changed owners this past summer (2024) So service has gotten better. The changing of ownership is the only reason I started coming back to this location. So far, the service is very good. They are very quick on making your sub the way you want it. The employees I have met are very polite.
I do use the Subway App to do my orders, which makes it very convenient. Order online and it's ready when I get there. So I do not have that much interaction with the employees.
So far, everything I have ordered is been the way I wanted it unlike the last owner.“
