“Tonight’s dinner was thanks to DQ. The joy on my husband’s face when he opened the box and found the “perfect” hot dog. The crew tonight went above and beyond to make sure my 9 year old had her fries that she thought she ordered, she didn’t but they remedied that. All this to say they did fantastic and took pride in their work tonight and it showed!“

“Great food. Fresh, tasty, great selection. Clean and comfortable. Hands on management. The manager greets everyone and you can see him doing everything - he leads by example - that’s probably why the Staff is excellent. Can’t say enough good about this place. My wife loves it - I wasn’t one for “fast food” but I listened to her and gave this a chance and now it’s one of my favorites. They have a pork cutlet sandwich that is outstanding. Nobody has this and it’s great.“

“We recently visited this ice cream shop as a family, and it was such a treat—literally! My husband tried their dairy-free mint chocolate chip, and he loved it. He couldn’t even tell it was dairy-free—it had that classic, refreshing mint flavor and smooth texture that really hit the spot. My son and I shared a scoop of chocolate peanut butter, and it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and the swirls of peanut butter gave it the perfect salty-sweet balance. We also tried the Chick-O-Stick cone, which was a fun surprise—crispy, nutty, and nostalgic. This place clearly puts care into both their traditional and dairy-free options, and we’ll definitely be back for more!“

“Amazing ice cream. I had a waffle bowl with 1 scoop pistachio and 1 scoop toasted coconut. Big scoops see photo. $11. Line moved fast. Not enough seating but it IS a boat dock so expected. The trade off is a great view and people watching.
Dietary restrictions: They do have dairy free cold treats.“

“This place is a hidden chocolate lovers dream! The staff was genuinely friendly, and got to meet the chocolatier making the Dubai bars. She said she makes almost all the chocolates there. I love chocolate and wasn’t expecting anything too exciting with my chocolate and mm covered rice crispy treat but omg. That chocolate was PERFECTLY tempered and smoooooth as silk. This is def not just melted down chocolate chips. Someone knows what they’re doing and it’s clear there’s years of experience going on. Oh. And SIXTEEN flavor of old fashion fruit slice candies. Try the chocolate covered bacon. Just do it!“

Dietary restrictions: Well labelled so people know what people can and can’t eat.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and the atmosphere and the look of the shop will entertain children. I know - I am one .
Wheelchair accessibility: Quite wide doorway with small ramp to help wheelchairs get into the shop easily. Tables that people with wheelchairs can get into easily“

It amazes me how employees these days just look at you waiting for your order without saying “hello” or “how may I help you”. It is more a comment on the younger generation and not this location, in general. It is always clean and bright with music playing. Has outdoor seating as well.“

“Wonderful place with quality people! Huge selection of flavors. We all loved the ice cream. And the manager treated us with integrity and kindness. We went there while on vacation for our last night in Ind. Rocks, and my daughter accidentally left her purse. We didn't realize until we were leaving out early the next morning. We contacted the manager, and they mailed the purse back to my daughter. They were such a blessing to deal with, and I appreciated them going out of there way to do that for my daughter. That speaks highly of the place, imo. And to the manager, thank you for all you did for us!“

“We were in the area for spring training baseball and came to John’s Pass on the recommendation of a local friend. We had just finished eating dinner on the dock at Caddy’s and came looking for ice cream… and this place did not disappoint! We love supporting local and independent ice cream places like this especially when the product is so good. I got a waffle cone with Captain Butterscotch and my wife got one of their chocolate ice creams - both were very good. And it’s just fun to eat ice cream on the boardwalk! Definitely recommend!“
