“I am not one for Waffle House personally but my son was begging to go. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff very friendly. The food was enjoyed by all in our group. We left pleased with our experience. It was also cheaper than some other local diners which having four kids that was a nice thing with everything going up in price these days. I am sure we'll go back again sometime.Dietary restrictions: I am on Keto and I ordered the steak omelet and it was delicious.Kid-friendliness: The waitress was very friendly to my kids and made us feel welcome and cared about.“

“This place is a must eat! We ate breakfast here all 4 mornings of our stay! There isn't a dish that I would not recommend! They are all fantastic! The bourbon street was mine and my kids favorite, the gulf coast omelette was my husband's favorite. The bourbon street features a coconut waffle and out of this world bourbon butter sauce! The old Texas French toast features a citrus butter, and the grits are coconut grits! Delicious! That's just the food! The waiter and waitresses are super friendly! The manager even waits tables herself. She is so personable and presents herself as if she'd never met a stranger. We even noticed her giving people hugs as they entered! They play an awesome selection of music from hip hop/R&B to reggae. Through and through an awesome establishment!“

“This place is a hidden gem. Lots (over 10) classic pinball machines - Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Classic Monsters, and many more. The staff was very helpful and had great recommendations. The food was top notch and the fresh juice and homemade hot sauces made it all that much better. The portion sizes were perfect. “The service and staff was excellent x infinity!! There was a little wait to be seated, which is slays a good sign we are about to eat some good fixing. We were not disappointed.I had shrimp and grits. After the initial bite and spicy sensation passed, it was very good. Also had the eggs Benedict, again very tasty coastal style. “So so so so so happy with my experience here!! We originally went to a waffle house (spoiler alert: don’t go) and the workers there were incompetent. We ended up leaving before eating there and chose Cafe Destin on a whim and honestly could not be happier with our decision. The restaurant (and bathrooms!) are very clean and everything looks very well maintained. The workers were very friendly and were quick to clear tables and make sure you’re doing well. You order at a counter, seat yourself, and they bring your food to you— so you don’t have to wait on a waiting list. The food is SO GOOD. No one in my group left even a crumb on our plate because everything was delicious- and the portion sizes were perfect. Big big big fan of our experience and would recommend to everyone:)“

“Sometimes you wake up in the morning and decide you're going to space early. And then, the hunger strikes and waffle house just isn't gonna cut it, so you go on an adventure. Rarely do you find success before elevated starvation has you resentfully pulling in under the nearest arches or waiting in line for a spot at a chain brunch spot. “Cant believe this place has been here 2 years and I had no idea. It's nice to have biscuits and gravy that isn't the white instant, bland gravy most places have. The potatoes were a nice change from other places as well. The eggs were well made, as well as scrambled could be. My ham side was huge and will make a nice sandwich later. Just wanted to help put this little tucked away spot on the map.“

“There was about 45 minutes in total from arrival to receiving food, but that is not the restaurants fault. The service was absolutely amazing and is the reason for my review. There is an employee there named Way. He is of Asian ethnicity. Absolutely amazing service from Way. He looked as if he was the most productive employee there, even when they were full to the brim with customers and he still made time to take orders and seat customers. #WELOVEWAY“

“Leslie waited on me and she did a great job. Very polite and made sure my coffee was always full. The rest of was very respectful, along with Jennifer with her hat. I was there on Christmas and had a great meal. I was surprised to see the District Manager come in while I was there and he started cooking and helping out. Now that's Good Management.“

Large groups may struggle to eat together outside, but the seating is all pretty close together. We went for a late lunch, and there wasn't a wait. Food came out quickly.“
