Beer prices are insane at $8 a can but somewhat expected for the location. Recommend for families as they have large seating areas and small play area for them. “Cute little place by the water. We went at open one morning and each got coffee and split a box of four beignets with the chocolate sauce. Beignets were amazing by themselves or with the chocolate sauce. Definitely recommend the strawberries and cream iced latte.“

“Sunset Bowls is an Acai Bowl and smoothie food truck located Downtown FWB! BEST ACAI BOWLS IN THE AREA. The base is delicious! Perfect balance between sweet, smooth, and icy. I'm picky with my acai bowls and this is as delicious as ones I've had in Hawaii! (Waikiki) The fruits are always fresh! The three food trucks always have amazing vibes, seating, and good music. The service is nice! The manager is super nice (the owner's daughter) and I love visiting!“

“Our family Had the banana cream, fruity pebbles, Passion berry and strawberry cheesecake rolled ICE cream... ALL flavors were really good. I spotted this ice cream truck when we got into Destin and couldn't get it off my mind, just had to try it out! She puts the ingredients down and rolls the ice cream right where you can see her doing it. It's really cool to see. And this rolled ICE cream is dro! “Me and my buddies came today for the first time to eat Chicago style dogs and beefs. I ordered the Maxwell street polish hotdog and my buddy ordered the the Viking polish dog and man oh man. The prices for these size Chicago dogs with friends are amazing, what’s even better is the taste. I heard a lot in advance and I’ll be honest, it fulfilled my expectations and THEN SOME. I had teriyaki chicken and steak, but I LOVED the chicken the most. I had rice because I love rice but the macaroni salad was surprisingly tasty when I didn’t want to like it. The chicken was very flavorful. I felt like this would be a great place to get a healthy option of fast food Togo. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was very clean. The only thing people in my party said negatively was “I WISH there was one in Fort Walton Beach”. I’m sure it won’t be long! Great food and location. I’ll visit again when I am back in town.“

“Customer service was awesome! James was our server at the bar and his customer service was top tier! In addition to his awesome service, Brandon and Anthony made sure we were good each time either of them passed up behind the bar. The food came quickly and it was hot. The Blueberry Hard Lemonade was really good! We also had the popcorn shrimp tacos and the Shrimp Wonton Rolls and they we good too. I didn't give the food 5 stars because they should serve the Wonton rolls with like a sweet and spicy dipping sauce or some kind of dipping sauce. The live music was cool too. “This place was the BEST FIND! We are from out of town and my son and I stopped in for a shake before I figured out what to do for the rest of the day. First of all, the brownie batter shake was delicious! They even had teas for kids, which my four year old loved. Furthermore, the staff was incredibly friendly. We ended up staying for over an hour talking to the staff, who gave me recommendations for the rest of our day. They had a perfect play area for kids too and my son had a blast playing while I chatted to the owner and her very talented barista best friend who was inventing some very impressive, colorful teas. We went to the salty duck while at the beach for a bachelorette weekend and immediately upon walking in it was obvious we were the odd "ducks" out in a bar full of locals. We all questioned our decision worried that it would not be the greatest experience. I'm glad we stayed because it was the best experience. We ended up leaving before eating there and chose Cafe Destin on a whim and honestly could not be happier with our decision. The burrito with beef and shrimp was very flavorful. Much to our surprise, we learned when pulling in that there’s a $20 charge for parking in a dirt lot. Harborwalk Village greets you with that. 20 bucks to park at what is essentially a mall. To go spend money at merchants that pay rent there. Unbelievable. Seems like a blatant gouge—probably because it is. Really? 20 dollars to park to go spend money? Is that a good way to make customers feel welcome? I don’t think so. Credit to Harry T’s for handing out 10 dollar credits for FLA residents and key ring holders (we’re neither). We just won’t be back because Destin offers so many other great dining options. And to top it off, there are plenty of other signs to make sure you’re not welcome. For example, there are signs in the driveway where you would drop off people (including the elderly and handicapped patrons) that say “Do not stop. No pickups or drop offs.” Really? “YUM!!!!!! I visited the Local's Eatery at lunchtime with coworkers on a weekday. The weather was gorgeous and the parking lot was packed full, but the service was still so fast! We were seated upon our request outside within minutes and our waiter was bright and friendly. Their outside tables outlook the marina area and it's a beautiful view. I ordered the local's tacos with fish and they were great! I think I would've preferred the fish slightly crispier, but that's personal preference and I still think the food was great. The fries were well seasoned and the water cold. My coworkers both got burgers which looked equally delicious. This was the perfect place to get away from work for an hour while visiting Florida. A quick drive from FWB or Destin and definitely a worthwhile one for anyone interested in checking this restaurant out! :)“

“This was the first brewery I decided to check out in the area while I was out here for work. It's tucked away down a side street, but pretty convenient to get to it seemed. The woman behind the counter was extremely nice and legitimately seems to care about who patrons the place. The brewery itself was pretty cozy, going for an aviation theme, which makes sense with the Air Force base basically next door (explains the military discount they offer on Tuesdays as well). They had just opened the actual brewery equipment area in the back for guests and have corn hole back there and a few other board games to choose from. Seemed like a place for regulars to come to. Everyone at the bar seemed to know each other and the bartender. But it was also inviting to a non-local which usually isn't the case, so that was really cool of them. There's a good variety of beers to choose from with a bit of an emphasis on lighter styles/IPAs which is a-ok in my book with the heat Florida has to offer. The regular blonde was pretty standard, an easy drinker. I did sample the blood orange blonde as well, but it was very fruit forward and the small glass I had had orange residue after I finished. The blueberry Pilsner was also super fruit forward but I could appreciate them not lacking on the flavor for that one since I'm a sucker for blueberry beers. Overall cool little spot in an area without a lot of choices for breweries. It sounded like they were trying to make plans to do more with the space too, so I'd be excited to see what they come up with as time goes on.“

Had just been to margaritaville, previously and paid more than $10 for a small draught beer. There were so many choices for sitting; at the bar, outside, upstairs, downstairs, all with its own feel. The beer was on par with a wide variety of choices from Hefeweizen to stouts to seltzers and sours. Of the 8 beers in our flights there wasn’t one that I wouldn’t order again. Azro was wonderful with telling us some cool local sightseeing spots and was so patient with us as we sat outside with our dog and waited for a few hours before we could get into our AirBnB. Yes! They are dog friendly on the patio. They even have a healthy dinner menu for dogs and brought out a fresh bowl of water for our pup!They were all so wonderful that we went back a second time to watch some of March Madness.The bartenders make stellar drinks and the happy hour food seriously cannot be beat for size and price. The drinks are half off during happy hour and they even offer happy hour during the weekends. Can’t say enough good things about IWC in Destin!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
