“We had such a fun time at Fudpucker’s! My son absolutely loved the gator interactions—it was definitely the highlight of our visit. Everything was exciting and super engaging for kids. The food was great too—everything we ordered was delicious and made the whole experience even better. Emily, the photographer, was amazing! She was so kind, knew exactly what she was doing, and worked quickly while still capturing great moments. We really appreciated how smooth and easy she made everything. Overall, such a memorable and family-friendly place. We’ll definitely be back!“

“What do I recommend? Anything!! Everything!! We had the fried grouper dinner with coleslaw and fries. The grouper was so fresh and juicy. And flaky!!! The coleslaw tasted like my mom’s! 🥰 and the hush puppies were pure perfection. We had planned to visit a place over in Destin but the prices were ridiculous!! $42 for six jumbo shrimp?! C’mon!! I honestly wasn’t expecting the quality of food for the price I paid! Great food. Great prices! I only dealt with T who took my order and was so courteous and Joey who I just had to tell about our wonderful experience. I told her we would be back before we leave and I’ve already planned my Sunday dinner! This was the Stewby’s on Racetrack Drive in Fort Walton. Highly recommend it!“

“The Gulf is one of my favorite places. The staff is always friendly and it’s the perfect place to grab a bite and relax with family and friends or read and study solo. “Went to Fish-On in Destin today and had an awesome experience. The manager and chef both came out and introduced themselves, which you don’t see much anymore. We learned they’re one of only three restaurants in Destin serving locally caught seafood that’s truly fresh — never frozen — and you can taste the difference. The chef has been on Hell’s Kitchen twice, and you can tell he takes real pride in what he puts on the plate. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly fair for the quality you’re getting. If you’re in Destin and want something legit, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.“

“The Back Porch did not disappoint one bit. We loved the atmosphere. We were seated out on the back porch right in front of the gulf and had a wonderful breeze blowing the whole time, which was great since we were visiting Florida in August. We got seafood and steak. “Hell yeah I recommend them. I am here on business with a client and when I travel, like to sample local hole in the wall places. So I come in JCs and they serve their seafood cooked in a bag. They throw all kinda of seafood as well as corn potatoes and sausage. I had a half pound bad each of corn and sausage with egg as and rice and for those of you who know me and know I eat, this more than filled me. Be sure you come in wearing trashy clothes as they also throw various sauces in to the bag and steam and cook it. They give you a bib and wipes and you WILL need them Also, I was waited on by Jaime who gave awesome service. I hadn’t eaten at this type of restaurant before and she won’t make you feel like a goober for asking questions. Very courteous and professional. I am likely to be coming to Mary Esther each spring for several years to come. You can bet your sweet bippy I will be coming back when I do! “Everything except dessert was phenomenal. The ribeye was stunning - among the best I’ve had in my life. Skip dessert (except coconut cream pie, if you love cream pies). Our table and the table next to us got 4 desserts (and they got it as a birthday treat), but we all thought the desserts were terrible compared to everything else. They even got theirs free because of the birthday but returned it because it was so bad. Our group of 4 came from San Francisco and were so happy with the food here.“

“We had beyond amazing experience at the emerald coast location. We sat outside with our two little kids. Our server walked out (Chante) and right away started to engage with the kids and made them smile and feel so welcome. “There were 13 of us from the Kennel Club eating tonight 8/20/2025. The food was great and our waitress was the best waitress I have ever experienced. She was so polite and attentive to our needs and wants. She knew who the food went to when our order was served, for 13 people! This is my new favorite restaurant. My only complaint for the Shrimp and Grits is the shrimp are obviously frozen farmed, and small. The grits and biscuits are very good and well seasoned, they need bigger, fresher shrimp to make it a high quality dish. Definitely a popular place and I need to try some other meals.“
