“We had such a fun time at Fudpucker’s! My son absolutely loved the gator interactions—it was definitely the highlight of our visit. Everything was exciting and super engaging for kids. The food was great too—everything we ordered was delicious and made the whole experience even better. Emily, the photographer, was amazing! She was so kind, knew exactly what she was doing, and worked quickly while still capturing great moments. We really appreciated how smooth and easy she made everything. Overall, such a memorable and family-friendly place. We’ll definitely be back!“

“What do I recommend? Anything!! Everything!! We had the fried grouper dinner with coleslaw and fries. The grouper was so fresh and juicy. And flaky!!! The coleslaw tasted like my mom’s! 🥰 and the hush puppies were pure perfection. We had planned to visit a place over in Destin but the prices were ridiculous!! $42 for six jumbo shrimp?! C’mon!! I honestly wasn’t expecting the quality of food for the price I paid! Great food. Great prices! I only dealt with T who took my order and was so courteous and Joey who I just had to tell about our wonderful experience. I told her we would be back before we leave and I’ve already planned my Sunday dinner! This was the Stewby’s on Racetrack Drive in Fort Walton. Highly recommend it!“

“The Gulf is one of my favorite places. The staff is always friendly and it’s the perfect place to grab a bite and relax with family and friends or read and study solo. “Went to Fish-On in Destin today and had an awesome experience. The manager and chef both came out and introduced themselves, which you don’t see much anymore. We learned they’re one of only three restaurants in Destin serving locally caught seafood that’s truly fresh — never frozen — and you can taste the difference. The chef has been on Hell’s Kitchen twice, and you can tell he takes real pride in what he puts on the plate. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the prices were surprisingly fair for the quality you’re getting. If you’re in Destin and want something legit, this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.“

“The Back Porch did not disappoint one bit. We loved the atmosphere. We were seated out on the back porch right in front of the gulf and had a wonderful breeze blowing the whole time, which was great since we were visiting Florida in August. We got seafood and steak. “Hell yeah I recommend them. I am here on business with a client and when I travel, like to sample local hole in the wall places. So I come in JCs and they serve their seafood cooked in a bag. They throw all kinda of seafood as well as corn potatoes and sausage. I had a half pound bad each of corn and sausage with egg as and rice and for those of you who know me and know I eat, this more than filled me. Be sure you come in wearing trashy clothes as they also throw various sauces in to the bag and steam and cook it. They give you a bib and wipes and you WILL need them Also, I was waited on by Jaime who gave awesome service. I hadn’t eaten at this type of restaurant before and she won’t make you feel like a goober for asking questions. Very courteous and professional. I am likely to be coming to Mary Esther each spring for several years to come. You can bet your sweet bippy I will be coming back when I do! It sounds like it’s a western panhandle chain but you would do wonders coming to DUUUVALLL!“

“I visited HarborWalk Village and, unfortunately, I wasn’t very impressed. The parking fees were much higher than I expected, which wasn’t a great way to start the visit.

While the area is nice to walk around and has a good atmosphere, I found that most of the shops didn’t have anything that really caught my interest. There just wasn’t much that made me want to stop and browse.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad place to visit, but for me, it didn’t live up to the hype. I don’t see myself making a return trip.“

“I'm a transplant from New England and whenever I see Maine lobster on the menu I'm skeptical. I always ask if it was previously frozen before ordering it. The waitress wasn't sure so she said she would check and came back and said it was fresh. I can tell you without a doubt it was not fresh and definitely had the tough, overcooked taste of previously frozen lobster.

Other than that, the food was great, the services was fantastic and the view was amazing. Just be honest about your frozen lobster next time. 🤷🏻‍♀“

“We just had dinner at Dewey Destin’s and it was amazing. We just did appetizers but holy moly! I had the medium heat peel and eat shrimp, we had the best hush puppies I’ve ever had, and grit cakes. I believe Jenn was our server and she was so very helpful and sweet. The Dock Rocker cocktail was delicious! Glad after 5 years of coming to the area we tried this place! Highly recommend!“

“Always a good time here! Great location on the water and adjacent to the Okaloosa Pier with indoor and outdoor bar, service & seating. Easy access to the sand for a nice post-dinner walk to watch the setting sun. Parking can be tricky but that’s the only potential challenge. Recommend!!“

“We had beyond amazing experience at the emerald coast location. We sat outside with our two little kids. Our server walked out (Chante) and right away started to engage with the kids and made them smile and feel so welcome. As a parent it was just heartfelt and amazing to have someone so kind to the kids. It made our night the kindness that was shown. If we are ever back in Destin we will be going back.“

My only complaint for the Shrimp and Grits is the shrimp are obviously frozen farmed, and small. The grits and biscuits are very good and well seasoned, they need bigger, fresher shrimp to make it a high quality dish. Definitely a popular place and I need to try some other meals.“
